how about them Suns
Beat the Spurs 3 games to 1 during regular season,
then go to Alamodome, tie the game on a last-second 3-point bank shot by Amare.
And win on a last second 3-point bank shot by Marbury in overtime.
holy fark!!!
Lakers play tomorrow. Could the road to our 4th straight title be this easy?

Great! I should have seen the game.
I watched the first half and it was boring so I shut it off. :(

That will teach you to never turn off playoff basketball. LOL. You missed a great ending!!

For playoff games, never miss the last few minutes of the game.
Most are decided at the last seconds of a ball game.
of course, I am sure everyone knows this

while Amare just got lucky while he heaved his shot; Marbury was in full body control as he shot it in the closing seconds. And I seriously think he did try to bank it.
wow!!

Well I saw the highlights so it wasn't that bad.

yep; ESPN played the two shots by Amare and Marbury over and over again.
Spurs better win Monday....boy, wouldn't it be a doozy if the Suns advanced to meet the Lakers, huh? Lakers would then have home court advantage.
On a side note: Iverson went off for 55 points vs. Hornets...wow!! what a game!!

Blah blah blah... who cares about the East! It's like playing the runner-up game in World Cup or something, just meaningless.

hey, that's what makes sports so interesting. Upsets always happen.
What odds would you give me for an Eastern Conf. team beating a West team?
I remember my 1986 Lakers losing to Houston on a last second miracle shot by Ralph Sampson.
I remember Denver beating Seattle, becoming the first ever #8 seed to beat a #1 seed.
And how about Dodgers beating Oakland in the World Series? Our cleanup batter was Mickey Hatcher, basically your average singles hitter. Oakland had the Bash Brothers McGwire and Canseco.
Sports is exciting b/c you never know.
It's not WWF

Yeah, exactly... it's not WWF, and that's why no East team has a chance. As long as it's either Sac or LA they East might as well not show up. Now if they play someone like Dallas or Minnesota, then maybe the East can compete.

Suns had a 7 point lead with 7 minutes left in 4th quarter, then just went into a shell.
But, at least they got 1 out of 2 from the #1 seed. You can't ask for much more than that.
As a Lakers fanatic, I am hoping for the 7-games series b/t the Suns and Spurs, with several over-time games, to wear out the Spurs.
On the other hand, if the Lakers sweep the Wolves, that's way too many off-days, and that will hurt in game 1 of the 2nd round.
Magic and the Lakers used to have this problem of sweeping teams, having long lay-offs, and spending the 1st half of game 1 of the next round trying to get back to the competition of NBA games
Wolves vs Lakers, game 2 tonight. It's a do-or-die for the Wolves. Lose the 1st two games to the Lakers, and you are history. Tough enough to beat Lakers 4 out of 7 games...but try doing 4 out of 5 games. That's what the Wolves face tonight.
