View Full Version : EBAY NOW IN YOUR PROFILE!
BGray 04-20-2003, 11:46 AM In an effort to make trading with members safer and more reliable we have integrated ebay profiles into the user profiles.
To add your ebay profile simply click on "Profile" in the top menu, then click on the "Edit Profile" link at the top on the screen. You will see a box at the very bottom of the page to place your ebay user name. This will automatically set up a link to ebay.
We have set it to "items for sale" to help everyone promote their auctions but you can easily navigate to a members profile from that page.
Hope you like this! :D
We are working on a feedback/comment system that should be out soon to create an excellent trading environment!
Thanks,
BGray

LOL, on your Yao description it says about how much a pain it is to take tape off of them. All you got to do is take a knife and slide the top tape and then peal off the 2 1/2's left. Real easy that way instead of starting at one end and trying to peal it all the way to the other end.
just-for-cards 04-20-2003, 03:05 PM Iggy,
There's been too many times I've gotten cards that I've had to throw away the toploader because the tape was too thick or sticky to completely remove from the loader.
It's much easier on the buyer if it's in a team bag and there's no hassle cutting and scraping. The cards are just as secure and easier to get to.
That's just what I do. Other people do what they want.
I guess it's not that big of a deal in the long run as long as the card is OK.
leftyshan 04-20-2003, 03:14 PM Great idea, BGray!!! This makes it much easier to trade. Thanks.
stkmtimo 04-20-2003, 05:30 PM That happens to me, too. The tape sticks to the toploader and leaves an annoying film on it, and it looks bad, it's sticky and I wind up throwing it away. I updated my eBay profile, too!

Hmm, never thought about that. I send cards all the time and use tape.
Never thought that it would be bad for the buyer.
I never had someone send it to me with tape.
They always end up doing nothing and sometimes the card gets damaged. Thank you for the advice. From now on I'll put the cards in a team bag instead of using tape.

thegunzz 04-26-2003, 09:29 PM Updated mine, great idea. About the packaging of cards...I wrap mine in the invoice, centered at the bottom three folds to the top, fold two sides in and small strip of tape to hold in place....never any returns for this packing. This keeps the the card firmly in the holder and prevents movement of the card. Just another tidbit if you can picture the description..Semper fi Just-for-cards...
