Mine, Walter Payton RC! ;) BGray bassmaster 03-05-2003, 01:24 PM 1976 Walter Payton rookie card. thegunzz 03-05-2003, 01:25 PM John Stallworth RC IggyWH 03-05-2003, 02:17 PM Marino rookie, my fav player of all time radioheadfloyd 03-05-2003, 02:27 PM Warren Moon RC The Vikes 03-05-2003, 04:50 PM Believe it or not my favorite card isn't listed in the Beckett. As my name shows, I'm a huge Viking fan. The card is from 88 Fleer. This is the year that the Vikes lost to the 'Skins in the NFC championship on Darren Nelson's dropped ball on 4th and goal Vikes trailing by 7. Yes, it would've forced OT, and the Vikes would've won the game since they ahs so much momentum. Oh, back to the card. 88 Fleer # 70/88. It's the Divisional playoff game against the 49ers. The picture shows Joe Montana getting sacked by Jeff Seimen and Keith Millard. That was and always be my favorite card showing action. Yes the Vikes did win that game 36-24. See ya at the convention! boriquastud 03-05-2003, 04:57 PM 1972 topps Roberto Clemente Greatest player to come from my homeland! In fact, I have a 1956 Topps 2nd year Roberto Clemente card which is probably my most cherished card. I got it my 3rd year of collecting and had to work damn hard for it! This thread is for football cards though. You might want to post again in the baseball section. :) BGray boriquastud 03-05-2003, 05:12 PM Oops!!! Tim podstock 04-06-2003, 06:30 PM 1986 Jerry Rice Topps 2nd favorite: Magic/Bird/Erving 1980 Topps rookie card. Boy this one is a classic!!! 2 Hall of fame rookies, on 1 card. Has this ever happened before? I recall that back in late 1980s, Fleer would put out rookies cards that featured 2 players on 1 card, like Mark Grace and Darrin Jackson (I think). stkmtimo 04-06-2003, 08:36 PM Yes, I remember that. Grace had the blue Cubs practice jersey and it said: "Future Stars". Tim podstock 04-07-2003, 01:06 AM yea, I loved that card...still have a couple. Always thought Grace had to potential, with that sweet swing of his, to make the Hall of Fame. At this point in his career, serving as backup 1st basemen for AZ Diamondbacks...don't think he will garner the stats needed to get there. But, I will always remember that 1989 Division series he had vs. the Giants. Both he and Will Clark went off, batting something like .688 with several homers and a bunch of RBIs. What a dominating performance by both players!!! wdwain 04-07-2003, 04:10 AM My fav card is my 1999 Playoff Contenders Tim Couch Rookie Ticket Auto #151 I also like the design of the 1996 Upper Deck football jerseys! Thanks, Dwain Weeks http://www.freewebs.com/dwain/ mookigremlin 04-07-2003, 05:36 AM My MOST favorite card that I own is a tie. As some people know I collect J.R. Redmond. Through out my searching for his cards I have been lucky enough to get two 1 of 1 autograph cards of his. Both of them are from 2000 Collector's Edge T3. If you want to take a look at them here are the links. http://www.angelfire.com/sc3/mookigremlin/images/Redmond_1_of_1.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/sc3/mookigremlin/images/Redmond_1_of_1_2.jpg If I would have to pick my second favorite it would have to be my 2000 Collector's Edge Odyssey GameGear Leatherbacks and 2000 Collector's Edge Odyssey GameGear Leatherbacks w/writing both limited to only 12 I know Redmond is not a star player yet but given time the Patriots will know what they have. :) Richie mookigremlin :p podstock 04-08-2003, 07:38 PM hey, wow, even the signature is legible. nice job getting his auto!! pwaldo 04-08-2003, 07:47 PM 1985 Topps USFL Doug Flutie Rookie Card Jester 01-20-2005, 06:13 AM So what is your favorite football card?
