ok, I no longer will trust PSA/DNA or James Spence for my authentication needs. After seeing this auction, I now know that they both authenticate fake autographs. Just look at it and you just start laughing, and it says it's been authenticated by both of them:

OMG its so crazy that you mention this. I saw an auto of Bonderman being sold by this same seller, stating it was PSA/DNA Authenticated. I am an expert on Bonderman's moniker, I can spot a fake in a second and this card he was selling was clearly not authentic. I too do not trust PSA/DNA, the only auto's I'll buy are ones certified by both MLB and/or the card manufacturer.

This is something that makes me laugh because the card shop I spend all my money at has 3 pairs of signed Shaq shoes.

They are COA'ed by PSA, JSA, and a guy from Beckett.

All 3 autos are distinctly different, but when compared to some of his auto cards, they all match different autos...

I know that in my Angel Berroa collection, he has MANY different autos.... The same goes from Ken Griffey Jr... In the early part of his career, he signed with the "Y" being having the long tail, now he does it differently...

That's what makes authenticating a game in my eyes... Many athletes sign things in different ways, and it usually changes after a few years.

As for the authenticating on that auto, who knows, but the seller should be able to post a COA... And since PSA uses certain methods to prevent counterfeiting, it will be very easy to tell if he is being truthful or not.

Also, was searching his current auctions and found this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/JESSE-OROSCO-1987-FLEER-AUTO-BASEBALL-CARD-PSA-DNA_W0QQitemZ8719591173QQihZ015QQcategoryZ73396QQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have 3 autos of Jesse and they were all signed in person, 2 at a Met's game, the other at a card show way back... This guy is the biggest liar because this is definitely not an authentic Orosco auto...

Here is another Ebay auction with a real auto:

And a Topps Pristine Legends auto (Notice how he signs differently on cards vs pictures, this is pretty common with him):

That is twisted. He stated "AUTOGRAPH HAS BEEN EXAMINED AND CERTFIED AUTHENTIC BY PSA/DNA,THE NATION'S MOST REPUTABLE AUTOGRAPH AUTHENTICATION SERVICE.CARD WILL COME WITH LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM JAMES SPENCE AUTHENTICATION".

Well, Spence cut his ties with PSA/DNA a long time ago.

If you look at his Orosco autograph auction it states that it will come with a COA from "STEVE GRAD PSA/DNA". Maybe he is running his own little "authentication company" and calling it PSA/DNA to trick people or something because he didn't post a scan or something of the letter or COA so who knows if its from the real PSA/DNA or not.
