Well I've had bad luck with QB's thus far so I figured I would see what everyone else thinks...I have Hasselback on the bench injured, so I can either start Delhomme(at home) vs. TB or Plummer at Oakland.....Steve Smith is a factor when thinking of Delhomme, and the Raiders offense will get killed by the Broncos D, so Plummer should have the ball a lot and is playing well, whats your thoughts on who to start between those two QB's???
ALSO, who to start of these 3 QB's from another team 2 :
Romo vs Ariz, Delhomme vs Bucs, Grossman vs Giants MNF

For the first team, I would say start Plummer. The bronco's offense has been struggling this year ,but it hasn't hurt them with that defense they have there. So this should be a factor. You're right, Plummer will get the ball often, but his targets are limited. Javon Walker is a TO wannabe (he cries WAYYY too much when he doesnt' ge tthe ball) and their offense primarily goes around that running back by committee. But, I would be confident in starting Plummer this week. Another thing with Plummer, we may see Cutler's NFL debut this week if they're blowing Oakland out of the water. Remember that, as Plummer's PT might be limited.
For the second team, I think your best bet would be Delhomme against the Bucs. Grossman got ripped up against Arizona and I don't see Romo having that great of a game, especially since TO is starting to stir things up. Grossman will also have a tough time against NYG monday night as their defense is pretty steady. I'd be confident to go with Delhomme in that team. Smith is a factor and if he shows up, Delhomme will have a great game. Hope this helps you.

rchurchward-the Cutler thing was also in the back of my mind, I think I'll start Plummer, but by Sunday who knows? I also have Delhomme set as my starter on the second team right now, thanks for the reply!!!
btw, did you get the Chrome Moss RC out from our trade? I still haven't received anything,LMK

Plummer has the easier matchup but I believe the Broncos will try to establish a running game. Oakland has a good defense but their offense is miserable. I think the Broncos will jump to an early first half lead and pound the running game in the second half. I say 175 yards and 2 TD. Panthers are 4-4 and really need to win in the stacked NFC. I think Delhomme is good for 200+ yards and at least 2 TD. He threw for 270 earlier on them this season. Plus they are coming off a bye.

team 2 I would go with Romo. I have Hasselbeck injured in a league and I started Romo last week. Starting him this week as well. Grossman is facing a really banged up Giants team but his inconsisten play (those turnovers!) worries me.

I also like Romo, I'm just trying not to be bias towards him, I already have Witten and Glenn so I don't want all my eggs in one basket, Glenn has been on the bench as I have Steve Smith and Reggie Brown....I guess I'll just wait and see who is hurt on Sunday morning!

Jake Delhomme. When people think of the Raiders they think of horrible team horrible defense, but it has actually been mainly the offense failing this team. The Raiders rank second in pass defense this season only behind the chicago bears. Their rush defense, not their pass defense has been bad (ranks in the bottom end). So i expect this to be Broncos style football with the running backs running the offense with minimal passing attempts for plummer.
over the past 5 weeks the raiders have held oponents qbs to these totals:
176
301
202
102 (vs. Plummer)
165
192

Team #1 I would go with Delhomme. Raiders are actually playing pretty good defense these days and as Renegade said look for the Broncos to run. Team #2 is a toss up but I would go with Romo. He has been pretty good in his starts and has a nice thing going with TO right now.
