Carson Palmer signed with the Bengals for 6 years, and therefore will be made the #1 Draft Pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, finally, one of my predictions is right!

Tim Qball76 04-24-2003, 06:06 PM I figured he would be, Leftwich is a good player but as far as all around quarterback Palmer has the edge on him... stkmtimo 04-24-2003, 06:18 PM That's what I think too, Leftwich needs to lose some weight, too. Tim IggyWH 04-24-2003, 06:44 PM I would still love to know when did this guy become a clear cut #1 guy? Is the draft that bad this year? radioheadfloyd 04-24-2003, 06:47 PM I think the draft is pretty bad this year. There could be some WRs that pan out. stkmtimo 04-24-2003, 06:57 PM Carson Palmer is a great QB, and will excel in the NFL. He is one of the few Heisman Trophy winners that I actually like. Tim I think he is doomed in Cincinatti... that organization is run liek a mom and pop. Qball76 04-24-2003, 07:07 PM Originally posted by radioheadfloyd I think the draft is pretty bad this year. I agree, I think this year will produce alot of future star defensive players...There are quite a few good linebacking prospects coming up in the draft... podstock 04-24-2003, 07:39 PM any mention of salary contract? Surprised Palmer didn't ask to be traded to a better team. wdwain 04-24-2003, 08:18 PM Palmer is a good pick but he will have more down's than up's in Cincinatti! They are getting a little better. Chad Johnson is a good young player, Dillon is a great RB & When will Warrick step up and play like he did at Florida St. IggyWH 04-24-2003, 08:21 PM Warrick has done had his time... they might as well release him and save some money. podstock 04-24-2003, 10:06 PM damn!!! 7-year, $40M contract. And Palmer says he's glad to get out of L.A. b/c it's too hectic here. lolol. Imagine how hectic things will be when he drops back to pass, and finds 3-4 defensive lineman on his *** in less than 3 seconds. |
