They were saying on ESPN that Ron Artest said he should have gotten the best Defensive Player award. Is he on crack? Ben Wallace is a defensive force with all those blocks!

I don't think that Artest should have won. He just gets all of the attention for his fouls so he thinks he is better.

Wallace is way better and maybe if Artest wasn't suspended for half his teams games then he'd have an argument.

Artest plays defense well; but he's mostly a perimter type of defender, playing the likes of a Kobe, for instance.

But Wallace anchors the entire Pistons defense.

Wallace no doubt deserved that award!

This is a no-brainer... how can the defensive player of the year have missed 12 games because of suspension? What good is he to the team defensively if he's sitting the bench!

I can't stand Artest. He shouldn't even be playing anymore. He's dirty to the extreme and extremely disrespectful to players and fans and coaches!

I have MAD respect for Rodman because he was a self-made millionaire. If it wasn't for his whole show, he would have played his whole career in Detroit making $300,000 a year and not be an everyday name like he made himself into.

Artest/Rodman 1 on 1 "No Rules & No Ref's" That would be a great game/Fight "even though Rodman might wear a dress"!

The difference was, Rodman generally respected the fans and some of the media and other people, and was at least decent to card companies, etc. and a nice person from what I hear. Artest is just a jerk.
