Nice win but I would just struggle to pay that much money for any card. Maybe I don't appreciate cards but I just would rather buy an expensive box of cards than just 1 card. But if you love Nomar it's a heck of a deal so congrats.

Nah, I remember this card going for $25 right when Dontrelle was 3-1, skyrocketed to over $120+ when he was 9-1. I was going to get Dontrelle and Cabrera cards in the offseason when the market was slow for baseball, but this was too good to pass up on.

He came up from the minors when Vizquel went down. He looked pretty good at times. I figured the risk vs. the potential reward made it worth a shot. I would love to see Tejada with the Cubs next year, but I think he'll be in San Diego.

Ouch...Mike Sweeney's stuff will probably never go up again...That's why I like to do sets such as Topps Traded and collect RC's from BDP because they are loaded with lots of potential in thew RC's. I guess that's the risk you take trading prospect cards.

That's probably a bit high for a Jones auto...unless you have the money. I recently picked one up for $6, but it was numbered to 136, I think. I'd say it would bring around $50 BV in return.

lol, thats what I was talkin about in the first post I put up. I emailed him with this long story and his reply was, "payment must be received within 7 days or else item is relisted". lol, so I guess that is a yes??? Also, what happens if he confirms the ebay win, but you dont get an email from ebay saying that the auction win is confirmed?

You guys are lucky that the market is saturated with star cards like Willis or A. Rod. It gets kind of boring watching the same Kenny Lofton cards go around the turnstile again and again and again ;) Plus, I have to pay as much for Lofton GU as you seem to for A. 20 rookies of a great sleeper for a little under $3 shipped.
He went 18-2 in the minors this year. Then he got called up to the Blue Jays, and went 1-1. In his loss, he pitched 7 innings and gave up only one run.

I think this guy has the chance to be really good. All he needs is a little more run support.

This is D-back 1/1 #5. I've looking to pick up an auto of Lance, but everyone he has is from Certified Cuts, and they are all cut off. I finally found one where you could see the whole auto, unfourtunately it was a 1/1, and I had to pay a lot of money.

Webb- I don't think I would have paid that much for one of Cormier's autos. He's not a great prospect. What you should do is wait until you find one you like they aren't all cut off as you can see here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=55952&item=5128747483&rd=1) . You would have been able to save some money to use for more cards. Otherwise, it's a very nice card :D.

True, but I collect D-backs obviously, and I want to get as many as I can, so I needed a 1/1. I would overpay for any Diamondbacks card if I wanted it. I could care less if he turns out to be a scrub, the card has more meaning to me than what I paid for it. Of course, he could turn out to be a star, at which case I still wouldn't care, I will never sell this card.
