Please adhere by these rules when posting something...

Sellers

1. In the title of your thread, announce if it is an auction.
EX - Auction: Don Mattingly Auto

2. In your post, please type the starting bid, minimum increment bid, and ending date and time of your auction.
EX - 2003 UD Yankees Sig Series Pride of NY D. Mattingly Auto
Start Bid: 100cc
Minimum Raise: 100cc
Ending: 9/27/03 @ 12:00am EST

3. If there is anything wrong with the card, make sure you note it.

4. You may choose to create your own BIN (Buy It Now) option. Just make sure it is notated as well and how much it is. However, there is not an option for a reserve price.

5. After completion of auction, you are expected to contact the winning bidder by PM and alert him/her about their win as the thread will be closed. Upon receipt of card cash, you are expected to send within 24 hours unless it is the weekend or a holiday. For weekends and holidays, you are expected to have it in the mail the next day the post office is open.

6. If you have any difficulty in mailing in proper time, please contact the buyer with a full explanation.

7. ADDED (1/14/04): Once you list a card for auction, you are obligated to sell that card for the highest bid. You cannot end the auction early for any reason. If you do not adhere to this, you are subject to warning, suspension or even banning from SCF.

Buyers

1. You are expected to adhere to the bidding restrictions set forth by the seller. Follow the start and minimum bid request or your bid will be retracted.

2. Make sure you have enough card cash to make your bid at all times while you are the high bidder. If you don't, your bid will be retracted.

3. Sniping is legal. Since each post has a time stamp, we will go by that to determine if it was done in time or not.

4. If you are the winning bidder, you are expected to transfer the card cash within 24 hours of winning the card(s) and receiving a PM. If you haven't, then you must contact the buyer with an explanation.

5. Contact the buyer upon receipt of card(s) and notate if there is any problems by PM. If there are problems you cannot resolve together, contact a moderator or admin to intervene.

6. If you have not received within seven days of said mailing date, then contact the buyer as well as a staff member with this issue.

7. (Added 12/28/03) Whatever you bid, that's the amount you are expected to pay. The reason is that this is not like other auction sites where your max bid is hidden, therefore it's not like someone can bid under your bid and expect to have a chance to win the auction.

Both Parties

There will be a bad seller/bad buyer list created once someone starts breaking these rules. Once on it, you will have the opportunity to come off of it but it will be through your actions in further auctions. Names will be added only due to major or repeated infractions as well as an explanation of why they are on the list. That list will be found at the end of this.

Also, as per forum rules, card cash purchases are not subject to feedback. Please avoid leaving feedback for any sell/buy.

These rules are subject to change, be added to, or subtracted as needs be. Thank you if you took the time to read these as they are for everyone's protection as well as clearing up board clutter.
