Alright,

It has been mentioned that I should create a flyer that you all can take to card shops. I think that is a great idea!
However, I am not the most artistic person So here is what I am going to do.

I am going to give 400 Credits to the person that can create the most attractive advertising flyer for SportsCardForum.com on MS Word Format.


I will take the top couple of entries and let you all vote on the winner.

Once we have our flyer I will attach it to a post and all users will be able to download it and take it to their local shops if they wish!

zipping it is a way to compress your files and post them on the board

Zipping a file is done by several programs, but the most famous ones are WinACE and WinZip. If you have one of these installed on your computer, you right click on the MS Word document in windows explorer and cchoose WinZip --> Add to zip file. Zipping a file compresses it so it takes up less room. If you don't have WinZip, you can download a free copy from www.winzip.com

You just attach the flyer you created on your comp to the post. On the bottom of the reply, there's a section to add an attached file to your post. You don't have to Zip the file, but zipping it would make it send faster (incase you're on a dail-up connection).

Make sure the filesize isn't exceeding the max size :

Maximum size: 202400 bytes

You might have to compress it more... try using maximum compression instead of the default normal.

Iggy the file is only 42,149 bytes far less than te 202,400.

It's not you Ipster, it's something up with the board because it won't let me upload your flyer either. I'll leave Bryan a PM so hopefully he can figure out what's wrong.

You don't have to be extremely artistic to make a quality flyer. Just be creative and give it a little thought. Give it a try bassmaster... what's the worst that can happen, we say thanks for your participation but we're oing to go with so-and-so's flyer.

I'm an accountant, I don't have any creativity either.

Click the "POST REPLY" button on this thread. One of the options then gives you a place to put an attachment on your post. You'll put your flyer there.

BGray, your flyer is pretty amazing. Hands down.

If this is a competition, isn't it a little weird for You to be entering it as well? Maybe it's because I'm used to reading in contest disclaimers that no employee or employee family member may enter the so and so contest.

Also, I'm tempted to re-do mine after looking at yours.

I don't plan on winning but If there is going to be a flyer with this forum's name on it going out to the public I want it to knock everyone's socks off!

I made this flyer in under 10 minutes and don't consider it very good at all. ;)

While I like the color flyers, can everyone have high-quality color printers?

If you don't you can just print it out in black and white. :D

Oh well, my flyer isn't that good because I'm sort of dumb with designing things on word, but here goes.
