I had a couple boxes of 05-06 Hot Prospects laying in my desk at work here for about two weeks waiting for a slow day here when the boss was gone to open a few packs up.

Well, I couldn't resist any longer, and pulled a Sid Prized Prospects auto/patch rookie #63 of 199. I about jumped out of my chair!! The fabric swatch is dark blue, blue and white. Am I right assuming the swatch was taken from one of his Rimouski jerseys?

Thanks. I just got back into card collecting last year after loosing almost my entire collection in a flood 10 years ago. Felt good to pull that Sid card, let me tell you.

Can someone recomend me a good holder/case for these thick jersey cards? I don't plan on setting it on my coffee table to display, but want something other than a hard plastic top loader though.

Go grab a magnetic case or a screwdown for it. Just make sure the card fits in the space provided :) heh

Most likely the swatch is from the throwback Penguins jersey's. I don't think Hot Prospects would be allowed to use the minor league jersey's.

hey gang......g/u can be minor league and junior, if it's dark blue I think it's Rimouski.........pretty sure it's not the Pens throwback.......don't think those are used in the g/u cards........I could be wrong though
