I dunno the answer but I think the cubs pitchers have more homers, zambrano hit a homer today, I think prior has 1 or 2 and wood has 1 or 2. what is up with this, are the pitchers on juice or what.

No, its 2003 MLB and the real question is who cannot hit a home run nowadays. By far the HR has become the most overrated stat as it is becoming more common than a slam dunk.

How about the Braves --- isn't Maddux pretty good?

If not the Braves, then my 2nd guess is Colorado, b/c of Coors Field.

I agree with the Braves. They got Hampton who can hit.

You guys are right, Atlanta and the Chicago Cubs have the best hitting pitchers. Doesn't the Cubs pitchers have a better batting average than the Tigers? I saw that stat somewhere.

Prior, Woods and Zambrano can provide a spark of offense if needed in tense situations (which is amazing), and definitely an asset for the Cubs. It's great watching their pitchers hit, sometimes they do better than the position players.

those guys are simply amazing, hitting jacks the cubs though have always had pretty decent hitting pitchers, I remember rick sutcliffe pinch hitting back in the day and when he hit 2 jacks in the playoffs against the padres.
