as a side note: Dallas hasn't beaten L.A. at Los Angeles for over 10 years.

This year, when Dallas was off to their rocking 35-7 record, or something like that, they had a 30+ halftime lead at Staples Center, then had 27 point lead going into the 4th quarter, and STILL lost.

lol

Now, wouldn't it be a riot if Lakers lost to Spurs, Dallas beats the Kings, and then beats the Spurs to go on to winning the title, WITHOUT having to beat the Lakers?

on a sad note: looks like Devean George is out for tomorrow's game, meaning we lost both our starting small forward in Rick Fox (torn peroneus brevis tendon) and our backup small forward.

reminds me of 1989, when Lakers swept through all 3 rounds to go into Finals, only to lose Byron Scott and Magic by Game 1, and got swept, 4-0.

Dallas is not going to get past the Kings. The question is who is going to win Spurs vs. Kings? ;)

ahem!! May I remind you that Lakers almost pulled Game 1 out, even with Shaq fouling out with 3 minutes to play?

Lakers had ball with 24.8 seconds left, down by 3.

With Spurs closely guarding 3-point line, if they'd go inside and scored a field goal, then fouled quickly, they'd have a shot to win or tie the ballgame, given that the Spurs aren't a good free throw shooting team?

And let's not forget....San Antonio has to win at least 1 of these 2 games to stay alive.

You can't be down 2-0 to Shaq/Kobe, and then say that you'll win 4 out of the next 5 games.

As long as Lakers win their 3 home games, game 7 at SBC Center is theirs for the taking.

Series not over....not by a long shot.
