I think he will do ailright in Florida. Not a breakout year though. I think his best years are behind him.

i think he'll do great... and i think all those people that complain about not being unable to unload their irod gu cards will be happy that they have them in a few months. it'd be nice to see an american leaguer succeeding in the NL, unlike KGJ.

I think Griffey will get back to his old form this year.

I'm still of the belief that the NL and AL are 2 completely different leagues and it's hard to make the transition. Nobody believes me anymore, but time after time it's proven, so if I had to give a guess on Pudge, I'll say he'll have an okay year but nothing special.

Irod's with the Marlins... how good could his season be? Honestly... they'll still have a terrible season.

The Marlins will still suck but Pudge batting in the three hole should have a great year. He may ruin the young Florida pitching staff as he calls way to many fastballs with men on base.

You can't go with a guy named "pudge". IMO

Since I starting undestanding baseball Pudge has been my man.
While he will probably never have a year like in '99, he should do pretty good for the Marlins and hopefully come back to Texas for 2004. Maybe if he has a bad year Texas can re-sign him for less.:D

Welcome, Molina. I agree with Iggy that making the transition from AL to NL may be tough for him or for any player who has played as long as IRod has. He may be their new leader.

I agree with goirish48. His years are numbered and it would be awfull hard on that team to match his previous career type #'s..
He will definately be a star in Florida but what is that really saying???

I still have some game used bats I need him to sign. He's got to come back and play for the Rangers again just to make me happy.
