What is the story on the Lucky 13 rookies this year? They appear to be fairly common, especially retail.

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing...is there a difference between the retail and hobby?? If so what...

I opened 3 boxes of Hobby and got Ted Ginn, Jr and Brady Quinn L13. The Quinn has gold foil and the Ginn silver. Is it similar to years past where the "Gold Medallion" are actually more common than the Base L13's?

I was looking to pick up a Marshawn Lynch on Ebay but am going to wait because I did notice different cards but was not totally sure of which was retail vs. hobby and/or is the Gold SP or not...

There were no checklist and the boxes did not have any information as to the ratio, etc.

Leave it to Upper Deck to screw up something good.

I agree. They did the same thing with the 06 UD FB rookies. Hobby, Retail, Target and Rookie exclusive. Beckett still has not figured it out.

Thank you, at least we know there are different versions. Beckett still has not listed Edgerrin James as having an 06 Retrospective regular insert yet hes listed as having the GU version of it. Its tough to add cards to my collection when Beckett doesn't even know what Upper Deck is doing anymore. They have gone downhill a lot in the last 2 years and I hope they don't buy Topps or I may be done collecting, lol.

It looks like there are two per box in retail fat packs and possibly one per box in normal retail. The Quinn that I got in a fat pack at Target appears to be the same as other retail. I think the Target versions only come in specially marked packs. None of them are listed as SP's on the Fleer site.

They may be Sp's but the site does not show it.
