Hey guys i was wondering if any of you could help me out here. I know last years situation with the Lucky 13s with hobby version being /500 and retail(Target, Wal-Mart, other) not being numbered and different action shot. Obviously the Hobby ones last year were worth 5x more than the retail.

But this year the set up for them seems strange. I noticed that the Gold Medaillions/Parallel dont come one in every pack so they must be rarer than last year. This years Lucky 13 hobby version isnt numbered but features gold background and holo-lettering. The retail version looks the same except silver background with silver lettering....plus you are guaranteed pretty much pulling one lucky 13 out of a hobby box......not so with retail...so are this years retail worth as much or more?.......also do the gold parallels of the lucky 13s increase the value or decrease them like last year...im really confused and UD doesnt give enough info on their sites.

Im just curious mainly because i pulled a Dwayne Bowe Lucky 13 Gold Parallel RC out of a retail pack at Wal-Mart along with a Willis McGahee Ultra Stars Jersey(not too shabby for retail junk).....is the Bowe worth anything descent or is it junk like last years retail?.....help

We are also a bit confused. Take a look at the
07 Ultra Lucky 13's thread in this forum.

No telling until Beckett says something that hopefully makes sense. I just hope UD doesn't totally ruin Ultra. Wasn't "Lucky 13" the main stay of this release?

Yeah, this sucks pretty bad. Upper Deck has pretty much screwed over the Lucky 13 part of Ultra, its mainstay.

All they need to do now is release the "rookie exclusive" edition to totally trash the product like they did with UD FB.

yeah UD does suck guys. Im just confused as all hell...........Why cant UD just leave well enough alone. I pray those jerks dont buy Topps.

Seriously folks we all have the power to shake UD to their knees, its called the will power to stop buying their packs just singles on Ebay from the few suckers out there that still want to rip open their craptacular boxes

Even though it may be tougher to pull a retail L13 than it is to pull a hobby L13, the hobby packs still cost ten times as much as the retail packs. The retail ones will not be worth more.

prolly not, but not by much......none are numbered this year.....but id still say that they will more SP'ed than the regular RCs by alot........plus the Gold Parallels/Medallions are rarer this year because they dont come one in every pack.......so the Gold version Lucky 13s will be more rarer than the regular ones still, unlike last year where they were less valuable due to the fact they're easier to pull than reg Lucky 13s.......
