I shipped 2 bulk lots of cards today. 400 in each lot and it cost me $7.05 and $8.68 to ship them. Prices paid for the lots were 8.00 each. now granted they were junk base, but I shouldn't be paying people to take my cards. Drn shipping prices have gone through the roof. I thought no more than $5.00 each. oh well live and learn die and forget.

Yeah that sucks. At least you saved some room though.

Yeah shipping prices are nuts. You cant even get a base card on ebay anymore for less than around 3.99 shipped. Its nuts. Sure you save money if you are a player collector like me, not having to buy pack after pack after pack trying to get that one card, but yes, its outrageous

USE A FLAT RATE SHIPPING BOX!!! You can ship any weight for less than $9. However many cards you can stuff in the box.

The last round of rate increases really affected the small time shippers like traders and Ebayers.
Someone has to subsidize the bulk shippers. Remember that the three pounds of junk mail you get every day is shipped at a heavily discounted rate.
I have found Fedex ground to be much better for boxed items.

thank you for the info. I have pretty much decided not to sell in bulk anymore as it cosy almost 8.00 just to ship and noone wants to pay that for bulk lots of "commons".

tell me about it. It's really killed a lot of us on 50 card and up lots.
If you are shipping more than 400-500 it's best to just do the flat rate box. I've had some bulk buyers of mine start buying more to fill a full flat rate box. That way they get more for their shipping dollar. The flat rate boxes will hold 3 660 ct boxes and ship for 9.40.
can't wait for the next USPS increase. We may see a time soon where they price themselves out of the market for anything from a certain size.
