Im looking to get some advice on a Adrian Peterson rookie card. I dont collect football but I need to pick up at least two of his rookies. I was wondering which card brand is the best for football? I was looking on the bay and it seems like Score is kind of popular. Any advice would be appreciated and if anyone has any that they want to trade for some baseball LMK.

Hey Shawn, I dont have any Adrian Peterson rookie but as of right now (with the sets that are out now) I would say that his 2 best are Classics and Elite. Classics have numbered RCs and they range from being #/25 to #/1499..and Elite have numbered RCs also..usualy you will see those ones #/599...I hope this helps!!

It depends on what your getting them for .... score is a bottom rung type release, doesn't really hold value but good value for the cheap buyer. If your looking for something that will hold value and is a little nicer you'll have to wait until the big stuff comes out like Exquisite, SPa etc.
Those will hold value better and are more sought after for the rookie cards. Other than that wait until stuff like Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome come out, those are mid level cards that hold nice value and stay relatively cheap to buy.

Hope that helps.

The Score Select rookies are numbered to 599 and at reasonable prices right now. This is a premium hobby only product not to be confused with regular Score.

Score is hot right now because of the recent release of the product. If you want something wait for the Absolute or try for a Numbered Score Select Rookie card.
