Hello everyone, I just thought since theres this new forum, its the perfect oppurtunity to show off my collection, and post updates on new cards I get.

For those of you who dont know me, for almost 2 years, with about a year of random hiatus's I collect low numbered Carl Crawford cards. Currently the collection consists of 85 cards #ed /35 or less.

Post your opinions on my collection, and if you have anything #ed /30 or less (possibly 35 if its a really nice card, aka a gu/auto) I'd be interested in buying or maybe trading. All opinions are welcomed, please post... I enjoy to see what other people think about my pride and joy.

I have to say that I'm quite impressed with your Carl Crawford collection. A friend of mine got his auto on a ball a few years ago at the Hall of Fame Game.

NO WAY!!! I offered 47$ on this card from this seller. Damn...so close. Matter of fact, I went through and bid 47$ on every listing for this card that had a best offer option. Nice win.

By the way...I love 1/1 cards...but, it bums me out that Ill never be able to have those for myself. Ive been a Crawford fan for so long, but, just recently returned to card buying/trading. I hope to soon have a Crawford collection that could rival yours. Nice work my friend!

Mark- I know the feeling, I know a guy who has like 10 1/1's including a Kazmir/Crawford dual MLB Logo/Autos 1/1, makes me jealous to know that there is a least one better then mine :-P. There was another guy but about 3-4 months ago he sold off his collection, so the 20ish 1/1's he had are all with different people now. Still considering Im not filthy rich, Im very happy with my collection.

Haven't won anything in over a week until now, and this will probably be the last for a bit too, been a lot of Crawford dual autos go on ebay (Crawford/Podsednik dual auto/patch #ed /5, Tim Raines/DeJesus/Crawford triple auto #ed /35 and a Pods/Roberts/Crawford triple auto #ed /20) that Ive let get away, although they were all what I say is overpriced. But considering the Raines/DeJesus/Crawford #ed /35 went for $42 shipped I say I got a great deal considering this has 2 more solid players along with Crawford and is lower numbered.

It depends what you have, like I said in my main post only interested in lower numbered Crawford's, I get offered a bunch of Crawford's almost daily but I only go for the extremely rare ones.

Trying to add a few more GU, over the past months of collecting I was focused on autos and willing to pay a lot for low numbered ones, but now that I've acquired a good amount of autos, I'm back to giving the GU some love.

By the way, thats my 60th Crawford #ed /30 or less.

Man I hope so too... I like Crawford as a player, thus making me a D-Rays fan, but whatever team he goes to will be the team I root for. And to be honest, it's getting quite depressing being a D-Rays fan lol. But the only negative, no matter what team he goes too, his card prices are going to rise (well... maybe Nats or Marlins), the fan base in Tampa is so low you just don't see a lot of action, so meh I'd like it but it would probably make my ebay winnings go down a lot.

And I'm also not a huge fan of the Cubs, but it can't be worse then the Rays, I was hoping a team like the Dodgers or Phillies... even though I doubt it, just some teams I like.

Never know w/the Dodgers. They're interested in Miguel Cabrera and Arod for 3rd, and if they pick up a Centerfielder and move Pierre to left, they can become a contender. They'd have a great core. We'll see.

Crawford is an amazing player. Had the honor of seeing him play on several occasions. One of my fav. hitters. Hit two triples and a single in a spring training game I went to.

::Sigh:: 4 Crawford 1/1's this week and all went extremely overpriced, I have a limit on $20 on press plates because I don't like them that much. So I didn't bid on 2 of them, the one ending later that night I didn't pay attention to because I thought since the others grabbed $25-$30 this one would too (it was the same exact set as the one that ended at $25). It ended up ending for $12... then I just got out bid on another 1/1 from The Topps Vault, a blank back promotional card, someone else outsniped me (not used to that), seems like its quite the trip getting to double digit 1/1's.

I'll keep at it, but right now, watching 5 cards, none of which are 1/1's, so it will be delayed some more. Just thought I'd vent, I'll keep updating my collection, thanks for being along for the ride everyone :).

Another win... seems like the majority of my wins are coming from BINs/Best Offers/Ebay Stores. It's a decent win, one went for a few bucks cheaper the other day, but passed because I was saving my money for the 1/1's I didn't win. Whatever, I love this set, the 2 autos I already have in it are beautiful and I spent roughly the same price on both of those.

FINALLY!! Took long enough but I finally nailed my double digit 1/1. I'll have to see it in real life, but I LOVE Bowman Originals, this will probably be by far my favorite card in my collection. A little expensive, but who cares? The card only comes once in a life time, and like I said, it couldn't have been a better set.

Let me know what would you want for it, I don't know if you read my post back in the day but the majority of my baseball cards minus the Crawford's were all thrown out/stolen when I moved so my tradelist is very pathetic. Hello everyone.

Just wanted to inform everyone, and figured this was the best place to do it because most people read this topic that know me. But I need to take another break from card collecting.

About a week ago me and my girlfriend of 2 years broke up, and it has had me heart broken ever since, very hard to concentrate.

Also I'm trying to sell my car and buy a new nicer car, so that's my main buying focus at the moment, not cards.

And finally, a good friend of mine just got in a car accident on Wednesday night, and passed away on the spot. Very hard for me to keep my mind focused on the world of card collecting with all of this happening.

Just a lot of stuff right now, I can't guarentee when I'll return, I'm sure I'll visit the site often but when it comes to buying/trading, I won't do that for a bit. My main focus is going to be on trying to get back on my feet, not worry about the females, and mourn for my great friend. Then once I do that my main focus will be on tricking my car out and selling my car I have now.

I'd prefer to not go into details about the ex-girlfriend situation, all I can say is that I was the happiest guy ever with her, and when she took a turn for the worse I knew it wasn't going to last, so I'm just very devistated. Also would not like to talk about my friend who passed away, she's all that's been on my mind and I can't think of anything else other then her today, just 2 hard topics to talk about.

If you want to know about my car buying adventures, I'd be more then willing to discuss that, cars have always been my release when real life gets stressful. They don't b***h, complain and cost much less money then any female (even with gas prices) and you can have much more fun with them :-P.

Another win, forgot about the auction, refreshed it after 16 minutes, there was 22 seconds left when I refreshed. I just tossed an even $10.00 bid, ended up winning. Not the best win, probably could've got it cheaper a later day if the set wasn't a new release.

Been kind of quiet for me here the past 2 weeks or so, I've been a busy boy with trying to finish school and refinding my social life. So I went on a minor vacation, came back found that I missed some good deal on ebay, but after just doing a new search out of boredom found this with the BIN price. In my opinion, any time you can get a 1/1 for less than $15-$20 you did good, and even when you do spend around fifteen to twenty, it's still not bad when you get the card and can look at it and say "This is the only one in the world, there are not other's like it!"

A lot of people always tell me to get a job, because the majority of my class has a job. But I look at it like this, I have 3 days left of my junior year in highschool, with my senior project taking up some of my summer time this year, this is my last free summer of my life. Next year when I'm a senior and graduate, that summer will all be about moving out to college (or even if I stay local, I still need to apply). Then once I'm in college, I'll need a job, but since this is the last free summer of my life, I'll hold out on the job thing.

Thankfully my parents are generous to support my hobbies, cars (especially with gas prices) and just give me a few dollars to hang out with friends. They've taught me well, I know how to be independent, and I have a brain and until I do something to lose their trust, they'll keep supporting me.

I agree, it sucks to let some cards slip away but I'd rather that then waste my summer in a grocery store. :-P

Hey everyone, been busy lately, enjoying my summer off and going out more than I have in the past, haven't found much time for the internet. Hopefully I can visit here more, and contribute more then I have since I took over this Volunteer role.

Today is my birthday, and since I have nothing I really want, I figured, I'd get this card as a nice way to start off, don't know how many of my other presents will be geared towards cards.

Only my 3rd 1/1 auto, paid the same amount for my most recent, so I figure it's a good deal. I'm guessing I was the only bid for the lack of a quality scan (not even worth adding to my site yet), and no paypal, I'll definietly take it.

Just got this card, very average deal... $5.55 for shipping kills this card, but all in all, $16.05 delievered isn't a bad price.

It's a good price, wasn't expecting to win because I don't bid high on items #ed /30+ (only want #ed /40 or less, but something to me is less appealing in the 30-40 range). But I finished a game on MLB The Show, checked my computer for an Originals Auto #ed /5, it went for a ridiculous $26, hit my eBay to see when my next auction was and I saw this when 3 minutes to go. Got ready, bid and won.

Also missed out on a dual jersey, auto from 2005 DK (one of my least favorite sets) for $10 dlvd when I was out, I don't know if I would've bid on it if I was home. But I can't complain, 2 more cards for my collection is a great day in my book.

Newest win, not bad... it's a love/hate card. I highly dislike Coco Crisp after that brawl the Rays had with the Sox earlier this year, he got Crawford suspended. But it is a dual autograph and one with a bit of history behind it, Crawford was suspended for beating on Crisp so it's a very cool, sarcastic card.

Not bad at all....kind of makes me mad that Crisp was a Cards prospect at one point and then he was sent packing for someone (I can;t remember who).

Haha, thanks again, they are actually presents for my B-Day, I have nothing I needed so I decided to look for a nice Crawford 1/1 (see the $50 one I bought 4-5 posts ago), bought that. And now what do you know? I'm addicted again, these are still B-Day presents, so I may be winning a lot over the next few days, including another patch or so, that's why I haven't posted my newest yet, I don't want to run over that thread so I'll just post all my new patches in one post.

Holy cow....what a card. And what a pretty penny it cost too. YOu know I'm still waiting for you to cut me a check my friend so I can reep some of the free eBay spending that you enjoy, lol.

haha thanks a lot guys. And thanks for the reminder bravesastros, I had to have it, it's too pretty to pass up, it's not a 1/1 but heck, I love it. And Cards Fan, after that I'm not sure I'll be such a prominent spender anymore, may have to hold off for a week or two, but I only have 3 cards on my watchlist, so I had to go for this. It was at $52 with 10 seconds to go, I had $120 open on a seperate IE screen, with about 4 seconds to go, hit confirm. Won it, was so happy, bet the seller was thrilled with his card doubling in 10 seconds too.
