ok, since I was ask from several members, how I have made my personal cards... I thought I would give you a little instruction "how to make your own trading card".
1. Choose a design of an existing set, which you like or create you own design.
you will need some photoshop skills to make the design for your card or you ask somebody with photoshop skills to do it for you. now you only need to put your own photo and name into it.
2. print the design (for front and back of your card) with your printer at home (I have a HP Deskjet 5550). format should be 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. I would suggest you to use glossy photo paper.
3. to make the card thicker and more stable you can use packfiller, which you glue together, but they have this ugly grey color. I would suggest you to buy some thicker white paper-board and to cut it to the right size or clue some cheap basecards together instead.
4. if you want to make your own patch card, you need atleast 3-4 packfillers or layers of paperboard... that depends on the thickness of your patch. cut a square hole in 2-3 of the layers, where the patch should be placed.
5. glue the packfiller together, fit the patch into the hole and then glue the print of the front and back of your card to it.
6. If you want to have your card autographed, get it signed in person or through the mail.
Since I'm from Germany, I hope, it's understandable and I have used the right words to express what I mean.
If you have any questions or need some advises, feel free to send me a PM!
