I hate NJ but I think they're going to win... they're the hot team while it seems like the Pistons can just barely pull off wins.

No doubt it's Jersey.

the nets have had to much luck no injuries and d-town has already had a few and now they know they can win w/o billups, so they play great "D", even though jersey play good D too, but I pick the pistons.

NJ will be ready. It'll be a lot of fun if they make it and their hockey counterpart make it into the finals.

Nets in 6 games.

Nets have just enough offense to overcome the defensive-minded Pistons.

Pod I think d-town is destined to win the east this year, and that is the only reason I am going with them, I personnally hate them, you know I am a bulls fan, so those games back in the late 80's and early 90's made me really hate them, but I do like the x-factors, the big nasty and big ben, you remember dennis rodman.

theres no way the nets can beat the pistons. chaunceys ankle is at 90 percent, and they are to determined. they swept NJ in the season series, but i know this is the playoffs now. i say pistons in 6

if the nets don't score more than 76 points a game, you can expect the pistons to when this series, because no team in the league can play detroits game and win, constantly.

Gi --- are you serious???

Detroit is the team that relies more on defense than on offense. It's their prerogative to make sure they score enough points.

As you can see by this game, Detroit had 4 occasions where they went at least 3-4 minutes of game time without a field goal.

NJ just took away home court advantage, as well

home court means very little when you are talking about teams in the championships. Very few teams can play both different type of games, the goal is to make a team play your style of play, and that is what detroit did, no team except for the pistons are going to win more than they lose scoring 76 points a game. So in reality it was a win in detroits books, cause now they know they can shut down the nets offense and make them play their game, I bet if Scott is trying to figure out how to score more points, because he know they can't win this series scoring 76 pts, they are playing to detroits strong point, Trust me on that, my man.

you have a good point about homecourt advantage, as it seriously only matters in game 7.

But, when all is said and done, NJ should win this series.

Now that my Lakers got trounced, I'm rooting for Byron Scott and the Nets
