Card Cash auctions work like any other auction system. Sports Card Forum staff and Traders at 50 feedback or higher can post an item up for auction and members can bid using their card cash.

SCF Auction Costs*

Listing Fee - 10cc
Reserve Fee - 10cc (Must PM RenegadeLonghorn or doniceage before listing so that reserve price is known)
Closing Fee - 10cc

*Fees only apply to regular members. Premium/VIP members get free auctions. Auction Pass purchases allow you to host auctions for free for one month.

Fee will be requested by RenegadeLonghorn or doniceage after the auction ends. If you currently have CC in your account, please send it in a timely manner.

Card Cash Auction Rules

Only SCF Staff or members at or above 50 feedback can start an auction
All auctions are live for 5 days. After 5 days the auction is over when their is NOT a bid for 6 hours. The clock starts after 120 hours and ends 6 hours after the last bid. After every bid the auction is extended for 6 hours. (Auction Pass & Premium/VIP Members have the option to host 3 day or 7 day auctions).
Minimum bids will start at 100 CC and minimum bid increments of 10cc per bid, but bidder may bid any amount higher than that as long as they have the cc to back up bid.
A limit of three live auctions at one time per regular member. If you are a Staff/VIP/Premium member or purchased an auction pass, you get to have five live auctions up at one time.
You cannot apply a shipping cost of any kind to your auction. Your minimum bid should factor in your shipping cost.
You must have the Card Cash in your account to bid on the item.
You can not retract a bid. No exceptions! Any bid will be considered as a bid to the next increment.
Sellers will post the card information, set the minimum bid, bid increments and time auction ends. Scan of your card is recommended but not mandatory. Your scan can be an example but you must state that. Format for CC auctions below.
Any member caught shill bidding for team members will receive a 3 day suspension for first offense, team member will be removed from staff.
Remember to watch over your auctions and watch for the announcement of the winner. Make sure to contact the winning bidder.
Auctioneers cannot edit their original post! If you need to change auction details please PM RenegadeLonghorn or doniceage.
Auctions cannot be canceled unless the CC Auction Team gives the user specific approval to do so. Any posts made by the user of the auction saying it is canceled will result in not being able to partake in future CC auctions (as decided by the CC Auction Team).
All auctions that end successfully with a winning bidder must be posted in the trade manager. Only the sender of cards is available for feedback. If you sent only card cash you are not eligible for feedback. Feedback will be removed.

Failure to follow these rules will result in warnings and/or 1 point infractions. Get three infractions and you will be suspended from using the auctions for 6 months. The infractions expire after 6 months.

CC Auction Template
All auctions must use this template!

Rule added...no one can have more than 2 auctions active at one time. This will be moving forward from now.

As a reminder, auctions starting on the 16th and going forward are subject to fees.

If you want to set a reserve, PM the reserve price to me or doniceage.

Here is a question, I close most my own auctions, if I do that do I still have to pay the closing fee?

RenegadeLonghorn

Sent you a PM.

Fees went into affect as soon as the official announcement was made.

Please reread rule #2!

All auctions are live for 5 days. After 5 days the auction is over when their is NOT a bid for 6 hours. The clock starts after 120 hours and ends 6 hours after the last bid. After every bid the auction is extended for 6 hours. (Auction Pass & Premium/VIP Members have the option to host a 3 day and 7 day auctions).

All auctions must state the correct time! You cannot post an auction at 11:00PM and state that it ends at 3:00PM 5 days from now. The timer will start at 11:00PM in 5 days.

not sure if this has been mentioned before and sorry if it has, if we really like the card being auctioned, and say we dont have enough cc,can it be possible we make a cash offer equal to the BIN or the difference? I thought id bring it up before it actually happened, like or would the person interested have to somehow get the cc or its their loss? Not just speaking for myself.Maybe this could be stated in the rules.

Once a card is placed in a cc auction, it can only be purchased with cc. No other arrangements can be made. So you would have to have enough cc to cover whatever you bid.

Yes, we can allow that. For media, they must be original CD or DVD. The disc condition must be described (perfect, scratched, dirty, etc). If there are no original contents such as disc case then that must be stated.

Is a scan absolutely necessary? I still haven't figured out how to get the pictures in the threads. Also, do we need to have a "Buy It Now" price?

Scans are only recommended, not required. Also, it's your option to use a "buy it now" or not.

An issue was brought up about bumping auction threads. I think as long as it adheres to the rules (1 bump every 8 hours), I don't think this is a problem since nothing is mentioned in the rules. If anyone wants to chime in on this, LMK. TY

Dan,

All you have to do is read the first page. As the owner has all the rules listed. I will send you a pm if you have any questions. This is for card cash to be used on the site. Might want to just type the questions you have or watch how people post their auctions as their is a format given in Page 1 of this thread.

Cardsandbeanies,

Bumps are fine they been doing it since the auctions were started.

I didn't have a problem with people bumping up auctions as long as it was within the 8 hour rule. Someone else had the issue with the bumping of auction threads. TY
