I would love for him to windup back with the Yankees but I am hearing that Philly is going to make a big push for him.

philly will, but rumor has it he wants a no trade clause and we wont give him that...

ive heard we are willing to offer around 5 yrs for 80 mil, i think he wants 115 mil over 7, do were about a mil off per year...so we will see...

if we land him and have Soriano behind Howard...watchout!

soriano will be playing lf or rf for whichever team he signs with...he isnt a good 2b, he was one of the league leaders in putouts last year fro OF, and his above average fielding...he didnt want to play OF bc he feared it would hurt his free agent $$, well he was wrong...he gonna get paid big!

I'd love to see him in LF for Cleveland...we won't give him the money he wants, though. I doubt he'd end up back in NY, since I don't think he was too happy with the organization when he left there...so who knows. I wouldn't be suprised if about 15-20 teams went after him.

I honestly don't know where he will windup but whomever does get him will be thankful they did!!!! The Yankees just traded Shef to the Tigers so maybe they can go after him now!!!!!

He won't end up in Boston, thats for sure, since on SC, they just said they are most likley gonna sign Matzusaka, for probably around $25 million a year.....thats a lot of money, but Boston would have a crazy rotation if they do get him.

I would like to see him go back to the Yankees...With them trading Gary Sheffield there would be room in the outfield for him... Thanks Ed

yankees of has abreu, damon and matsui.
so i dont see much room there since giambi is likely to DH
and they like cano at 2B.. somebody else has to go.

Here's a thought for the Yankees...... Trade Arod to the Cubbies since Pinella wants him and then play Soriano at 3rd base. Don't forget, Soriano came up through the minors playing SS so I think he could make the switch to 3rd base. I know I am probably only dreaming but that would be nice!!!!!
