At this moment I am playing my PSP alot. Don't have a TV here of my own. Love this PSP, the graphics are great.

Syphon Filter "Dark Mirror" is the sweetest game. Return of the former Champ to his greatness. Trying to finish the head shots and dart shots so I can get the bonus levels.

As for next game to get, thinking Medal of honor (PSP). I already have "The Godfather" is there any other games to get?

Madden 2007

just picked up Destroy all Humans 2 for PS2.....well worth it.

Just picked up the following:

Gears of War - This game ROCKS! I give it a solid 10.
Call of Duty 3 - It's good...a little slow paced, but the realism is great.
NBA Live 2007 - Controls are difficult, have to be set to be reset my way.

For XBOX 360

Though I am getting out of cards, I could never give up my love for video games lol :)

Don't play video games myself, unless little lame but addicting computer games like those in the arcade here count...

Never been a console guy except when I was little and played NES all the time... Have a PS2 but never use it.

A few months back I was really addicted to Rome: Total War. I love strategy games! I am usually a year behind the gaming scene. I bought the game for like $15 because it was over a ear old. I hardly ever play the new games.

Goldeneye on N64. That's about the only video game I play other than Madden '02 on PC. I dominate both of those games.

I'm calling it now....

Madden and NHL 07. I plan on buying Gears of War soon.

Actually, my favorite video game isn't on a console. I'm not sure if I can list it (it's an online game, so to play it safe I won't. I'm still new, no point in breaking rules so soon LOL). But I've met a LOT of cool people playing it, and it's FREE :D Anyway, as far as consoles go, I just beat Need for Speed Carbon on XBOX (Great game, but really short). I will be playing the new Star Wars Legos game soon (childish, I know, but fun) :)

Assassins Creed does look bad A$*!!!! I won't be buying a PS3 to play it though. I can't drop $600 on a new system, what I mean is any system. The wife would freak and I wouldn't be able to buy that new Surf Board and Compound sliding Dual miter Saw I want. Maybe Santa can bring me one when they come out with PS4. :)

I played the first Lego Star Wars game and it was fun. My son and I played, he usually beat what I could do and faster. While I have been gone he acquired (Doosn't mean steal, it was a gift) and has almost beat Lego Star Wars 2. He says it is a blast.

Ohhh Dan.. that reminds me. I used to play some N64 games each Saturday with my cousin before I left for college. Golden Eye was a common choice, but not so much as Super Smash Brothers of which both my cousin and I are insanely good at. I challenege anyoung to a game. =)

I was looking at the Xbox 360 version of Assassin's Creed. I agree with you, no way I would ever spend $600-$700 on a PS3 (not that it's so rational to have dropped $400 on Xbox 360 :( ).

Personally, I feel like Sony systems are headed downhill. Too many negs about the company and some of the things I hear they want to do with their games. One thing is, they want to make it so ONLY you can play the game you buy on your system! That means, no trading, no selling...etc. They want to squash all secondary sales (Ebay) in which they make no money. Ridiculous...but who know if they actually will/can implement that. Not to mention that I hear (rumor?) that the games will be in the $70-$75 range.

Right now, the only negative I see with the 360 is that the console gets so darn hot when playing it for an hour or so. I have to buy the additional fan accessory to help cool it down.

Other than that, I love the 360. I wanted to upgrade from my PS2 because I was never finding any new games to rent or buy. I had been playing MVP 2005 since...well...2005 lol I'm glad I chose the 360 (my 16 yr old nephew recommended it). It seems to have all the best games available and a TON of phenominal games coming out in '07.



Also...Gear of War.

Supposed to be the best 'Next-Gen' game on the market. Personally, I think Call of Duty 3 kicks its butt up, down and sideways. But.....

GoW (Gears of War) is a pretty decent game. It's a futuristic military setting, squad based shooter. Earth has been invaded by and is at war with a species of humanoid Locusts. The idea is very similar to the movie Starship Troopers.

What I don't like are the glitches and shortcomings...too many for a game that is hailed as the next best thing since sliced bread. The worst aspect is the "cover" ability being too tightly tied into a button. You press A to hug a wall, or a low wall, or a crate..etc Problem is, if you are mid-melee or shootout and you hit A by accident..? You are sucked into the nearest wall for a split second..or until you hit A again. Very bad idea by the makers...imho.

Well..that's my take.
