Those sticks are pretty sweet. How did you get those? Peanut Butter, what? Nice back drop by the way.

Well I just use Peanut Butter for the hockey mod that on the team better than using his pntbutter (userid). He does shows where he lives South Carolina and about so him and puckfrmcali can always use those.
As for the sticks. Well two stories on those.
1) The one with Goride Howe was given to me by my wife on Valentine. SO needless to say I have a good wife who deals with my passion in stride.
2) The other one is from a friend of Penaut Butter and Puckfrmcali. He moved to TN so now he and I meet up to do some trading as he picks up things from all over. He travels more than anyone I know and he picked up two sticks when he dropped by for a in house trade session that we do periodically. He mentioned he had picked up two sticks which had the signatures of Chelios and Bobby Hull. I didnt' trade for either but after going out to dinner and all he told me to take the Chelios stick as a freebie.
I been adding various HOF"ers to both sticks since as I see no reason to just stick with one signature on each stick. Plus at the GIBRALTAR Show I added Jean Beliveau and Bill Gadbsy for $25. Can't complain with that price in my opinion and down the road when I put them up in the HOCKEY ROOM to display it will only look better.

That's cool on all accounts, I also just read your post about your show accounts. My wife seriously thinks I have a screw loose in my head, she doesn't like my collecting. Might try to get her interested in my cards by helping me organize them and help rip packs.
Haven't had any local trading partners in a long time.
Have a good one.

William,
Let me ask you this does she enjoy the games at all. My wife doesn't truly care for the cardboard but let say she does love going to the games with me. She rather go to a game with just me and not in a group.
One thing she does enjoy also is going to the different locales to the DRAFT. She thinks all those guys dressed up on NHL DRAFT day look good (SIDE OF BEEF). So, hence she doesn't mind asking for graphs on occasion LOl.
P.S. On a trading partner that one thing about the site down the road. As it gets larger unless your in a remote area you should be able to find a trading partner. As the members grow someone who collects and enjoys the hobby should be close enough to meet up at a local shop, show, event, or whatever just to shoot the breeze, trade, etc. To me in person trades and meetings i the flesh are what the hobby is all about. Was for me at least when I was a child nothing like flipping for cards, talking sports, and admiring the players on the hometeam cards.
