I turned the channel 2 minutes after Mohr stepped up. Odd though, usually he is pretty funny.

You know I'd be a great host..I can see it know..one of the drivers would come up or I'd see one and start smilin and tryin so hard not to laugh..and I'd probably scream every few minutes. :sign0020:

I think it was APPALLING!!! I turned it off a couple of minutes into the show. I did not see ANYONE that seemed to be happy (except for Jeff Gordon, he was making the best of it considering Jay was nearly hitting on Jeff's lady), appaluse were to the minimum, and not many smiles. Even Mike Helton sat there with a look on his face that said "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS GUY DOING???" After he was picking on Jeff Burton who appeared very uncomfortable, I said enough of this garbage and turned it off.

I hope the drivers voice their opinions on this so call 'awards banquet'. It appeared to have some of the makings of a roast gone bad... but it didn't even make it that far.

I watched them so I could see Denny Hamlin. I can't believe Mini Dumbo got his girlfriend's name wrong. That made me laugh.. a lot. And then when Mark Martin asked if it was Arlene and a couple other drivers commented about it. HAHAHA I didn't really like seeing Jewel sing. The first song was ok, but I really didn't like the second one.

I laughed at Jay Mohr a couple times, but a lot of the stuff he said I didn't think was that funny. I agree with Ash, me and her need to host the show. We'd be great at it. :sign0020:

Horrible. Jay Mohr completley KILLED the entire show. He was not funny AT ALL.

That was the worst banquet I've seen EVER. The only reason I watched the whole thing was to see JJ at the end.

I couldn't agree more with everyone...terrible, terrible, terrible. Everyone acted like it was more like a funeral. It was supposed to be a celebration of the season.

The drivers and everyone else need to loosen up a bit...good grief. Everyone seemed so darn uptight. At least Kyle brought a little humor, even if he didn't mean to, lol Seems every year this awards show gets worse & worse. I think Jewel has a beautiful voice, but her songs were completely out of place at this kind of celebration. And don't even get me started on Jay, lol I know of two times during the whole night when he actually said something I laughed at, the rest was a "mute the t.v." moment.

We taped it and watched it - Jay Mohr was AWFUL!!!

Most everyone looked just plain uncomfortable! I do hope the drivers complain! Les is right - seemed more like a poor attempt at a roast than an Awards show.

Guess I didn't miss much, huh? Had to work last night.
