Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson sustained a fracture to his left wrist Friday, but the injury is not expected to affect his status for NASCAR preseason testing or the Feb. 18 Daytona 500. Johnson has withdrawn from the Dec. 16 Race of Champions Nations Cup at the Stade de France in Paris, but will attend the event to consult with Team USA. Doctors treating Johnson in Charlotte noted the 2006 NEXTEL Cup Series champion could be cleared to drive a race car in four weeks. The injury occurred as Johnson participated in a charity golf outing in Lecanto, Fla.

A wrist fracture from playing Golf from a Nascar Driver? Kind of a funky way to fracture it when you put so much press on it from driving or a crash....

Go through the entire race season without a scratch then break his wrist falling from a golf cart. He'll get a lot of ribbing in the garage for that

How does someone fall out of a gold cart..
When you're goofing around on the roof lol. Apparently that's how he fell and hurt himself.
On another note, is this the year of the non-racing related injuries?
Denny Hamlin cuts his hand open on a trailer truck playing tag or something.
Scott Riggs cuts his feet open putting a boat on a trailer before Sonoma.
Now Jimmie Johnson breaking his wristing while messing around on a golf cart.
Luckily there's been no lost time... but damn, smarten up lol.
