Rmc[AZ] 01-23-2007, 10:38 PM Nice card... I hate how players like this are overlooked and forgotten... 273 wins and almost nobody has heard of him, including myself. Chuck-17 01-23-2007, 10:39 PM Yeah, it is hard to believe how many HOF players people have never heard about. BBcardsRI 01-23-2007, 10:55 PM The guy played in the 20's... people my/our age ain't gonna remember him/them. I have always enjoyed reading about the players from the past. Baseball has a rich history which is one of the things that makes this game so special. BBcardsRI 01-25-2007, 04:08 PM A wise guy, eh? =) It is a great place and more than worth going to, especially for induction day. But my point still stands that you can't fault us for not knowing the oldies. ~Dave Ripken8fan55 01-30-2007, 01:55 AM AWESOME card! Very sweeeeeettttt indeed! Thanks for sharing it with us!! Tom. |
