Hello fellow hockey fans, I just wanted to introduce the newest sub-forum to STC Hockey Forums. Here we hope to get you a first look at new sets that have been released, and even hopefully, before they are released.

I have been in touch with the Upper Deck company and have also sent correspondence to ITG in the hopes of aquiring their sell sheets early so we can all see what is upcoming, and have a choice of what to spend our hard earned cash on.

This will also be the place to come and show what you pull when you get out there and buy new product, whether it is a case, box, or even a single pack. It will also be where you let everyone know how you feel about the base/insert/and memorabilia and rate the product, all that will need is your honest opinion of how you feel, there will be no judgement of your rating on this forum. Mike is working on a template for box breaks and product rating, which hopefully will be ready soon. It may take a little while though as it needs to work across all sports/brands/sets. But for now feel free to come in and let us know how you feel about current products

As this is a new forum for STC it will take a little time to get things set up properly. I/we are new to it, so any helpful ideas or changes that you all think we need to make please feel free to let me/us know. I/we want this to be easy for you to use so that all will participate. Also as we build and get input we hope to make some interesting, innovative additions that you may not have seen anywhere else.

Hopefully I will receive some new product information soon and get you all a fresh product to look over. Thanks and Happy Collecting.

Enjoy your cards.
Al.

Al,
Thanks for the post. As Al said it going to take time to get information, post stuff, and all in all take a while to get off the ground. I would encourage anyone that has information, sell sheets, checklist, scans, etc. to take time to share etc.

Remember this is not a show and tell per se. It a forum that takes a little time when you get a case, box, pack especially as the more information you provide the better input and asset it can be for fellow collectors.

Example it always nice to let us know when you break a box how the quality control is, bang for your buck (return on dollars for the box), how many duples you rec'ed, how the cards looked, and etc. There will be a template as Al mentioened and Mike is working on that so you can tailor it to hopefully give a informative piece to help other collectors decide on what they would like to buy.
