I got the info from Press Pass for the '07 Premium release. It has been delayed one day. The new release date is scheduled for April 26, 2007!

I guess one day won't kill us - LOL

I'm not 100% sure on that one. I believe he is a member on here as a matter of fact (I want to say his name is James but I could be mistaken). I know I have dealt with him before (nice guy) just can't remember if it was here or on SCS.

I can answer your question Tim. New product releases start shipping out one week before the "official" live date. On occassions there are wholesalers that can receive their product based on the shipping method used and the date it arrives along with other factors. For the most part, they have the shipping stuff down pat for estimating the arrival date. In the past, my wholesaler has received his product a day early and a couple of times even a day late due to shipping problems. It is all based on UPS or FedEx or whoever is shipping to be accurate and ontime if it was sent out on time from the regiaonal distribution center. Location (your example is Charlotte) truly means nothing since the cards do not even come from Charlotte. I am not 100% certain, but I believe that there are only two locations in the country where the cards are shipped from (maybe even only one now?). These regional distribution locations ship the cases out to every distributor based on the info provided to them by Press Pass. Many of you may think that because Press Pass is located in Charlotte that they are in a big warehouse or something. Nope... that's not the way it works, lol. Most large companies use other packing companies and other warehouse options as it keeps their costs lower.

Also, some wholesalers have deals in place that if the packages arrive at their home terminal but are not scheduled to be delivered until they next day they can pick them up at the terminal the day they arrive. I know one guy that does that with nearly every new release... why... because his neighbor works at UPS and when he sees the packages arrive, he calls the guy to come pick them up so that puts them in his hands a day or two early.

Press Pass was working towards trying to curtail the early listings (before the actual "live date"), but they also need to worry about hurting their sales by stopping those that list before the live date. It's not an easy thing to control either way.

Hope this explains it and clears it up a little bit.

Also, yes, cardfather3 is James and he's a GR8 guy to work with if you have a chance to trade with or buy from him, go for it.

I was able to pick up a box last night and the dealer did know that he wasnt supposed to release until today, but you know the power of a buck.
The box wasnt the greatest, but I know the ones Ill get from Les this weekend will ROCK!!!!
