My local hobby shop bought some of these to fill the gap between TRAKS and the oft-delayed VIP. They have them marked at $79.99. The box advertises 2 autos and the production is limited to 3000 boxes. My seal indicated my box was #2572. The box contained 24 packs each containing four cards. I'm not sure how many cards are in the base set because no checklist was received. The cards are middle of the road in quality. Medium card stock about halfway between Press Pass and Premium I'd say. Breakdown follows:

88 Base Cards. Cards numbered from 1 - 54. One complete base (? no checklist :confused0024:) set plus duplicates. Several cards were miscut with a 1/8" border on the left from the adjacent card on the sheet. All of these were dupes so it will be possible to have a complete (? again, no checklist) set without any of them being defective.

2 Black and White photo inserts: R1 and R7 (Danica and Buddy)
3 2007 Indy Winner inserts: V1, V3, V9 (all Dario, of course)
1 AJ Foyt 1961 Indy win parallel insert #407/500
2 Autographs: AJ Foyt IV and the one that made it all worth it...

Danica.:thumb: Yes, I pulled the much coveted Danica Patrick auto card.:banana:

I don't know if they're doing different levels of autos, but both of these were unnumbered and signed in blue ink. My hobby shop said that the Danica autos were going to bring big $ so I think this box is paid for! It was fun to break but I won't be doing any more.

All in all I give it a 4 out of 5 just because it's better than nothing and I did get the Danica auto!:becky:

Here is a complete checklist of every card that was available in the set. Hope it helps! I got my box and pulled TWO Scott Dixon autos. I hope to trade one of them for a different autograph from the set, lol.

WOW... $79.99 for a box? It's sad to see how much these boxes are selling for. We got our boxes through our wholesaler and paid around $57 a box. Just shows how much they will can sell them for, lol.

2007 Indy Racing Series – Premiere Edition by Rittenhouse Archives LTD

This release was put out by Rittenhouse Archives LTD and was originally expected to be released in Spring, 2007. After several delays, the product went live on August 29, 2007. There were a total of 3,000 boxes produced and each box carries a silver serial numbered seal closing the box. Boxes contained 24 packs with each pack containing 4 cards. Each box had 2 autographs randomly inserted into packs. There were also ‘Archival Boxes’ produced and randomly inserted into cases that contained one of every insert in one box. There was a promo card produced that featured Danica Patrick and was only available by registering online, then sending a self-addressed envelope.
