I noticed this graded pack of 1986-87 Fleer Basketball (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=2585675&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2F1986-87-Fleer-Baskeball-Box-GAI-9-From-a-Sealed-Case-86_W0QQitemZ140168801729QQihZ004QQcategoryZ26369QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) on Ebay. The guy is obviously selling this pack in hopes that someone will buy it with the idea of having a chance of puling a MINT Michael Jordan rookie.
Now here is what is odd to me. The pack is selling for $5,900 already. If the buyers did just 10 seconds of research they could be focusing their effort on this BGS 9.5 Gem Jordan rookie (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=2585675&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2FMichael-Jordan-1986-86-87-Fleer-Rookie-BGS-9-5-10-6500_W0QQitemZ150171693649QQihZ005QQcategoryZ58000 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).
I'm not sure the exact odds of opening this pack and getting a Jordan Rookie, but I would take the sure thing even if it cost a bit more. There are too many risks of buying the pack! Could it have been search and expertly put back together? Could the card be off center or factory damaged?
This is a case where the idea is out selling realty!
