Once everyone busts their box(es) of 2007 Press Pass WAT, could you please make a nice, orderly post showing what you got out of your boxes. Also, if possible, provide a scan of the best card you pulled? If you need help posting scans, PM anyone on the STC Racing team and we will try to help. Also please make sure to put how you felt about this product, quality of cards, pull ratios, looks, etc., good or bad post it and be honest.

When reviewing a product that you have personally opened, try to include....

**The name, brand, and year of the product
**Listed inserts and odds of pulling
**Number of packs per box and number of cards per pack
**Your assessment of how your actual pulls were versus how the odds say you should have pulled
**Also note if you were able to complete a base or insert set or how close you got to a complete set
**Your opinion of the quality of cards, quality of packaging, collation, etc, etc, anything a collector would be interested in before investing in this product

I am very pleased with my overall pulls. I can't complain about the Driver's I pulled, or the ratio's. I am upset about the comic cards though, I got 2 of them in both boxes. I like the design of the cards. I didn't care for the beach patrol though. I also like the older Thunder Roads better too. Overall I'd give the release a 4/5. It would have been higher if it hadn't been for those comic cards.

Nice box for the memorabilia. Always want Labontes, but was happy to get the ones that I did. Here's the breakdown:

Base Cards: Got all cards except for 40 and 60. I also have a duplicate of 46. Also, I did not receive any of the rookie cards, so that means I also did not receive cards 84-90.

The base cards were neat...I like the patriotic theme with the American flag background. I liked the Dream Team, Hot Rods, Road Warriors, Patrol, and Home Cookin' base cards also. Thank goodness for no airplanes or owner cards! My biggest complaint about the base cards is that I received about a dozen slightly miscut cards.

The Starting Grid die cut inserts are really cool! One of my favorites so far. The American Dream inserts are neat with the subdued back ground and embossed driver photo. The American Muscle acetate cards did not strike me as being very unique, but I don't hate them.

The Triple Hat card didn't make me drool, but they're not too flashy, not too plain. I like the idea of the hat pieces formed in the letters of the word "HAT".

The Thunder Road seemed to be too similar to other year Thunder Road cards to jump out at me, but the Truex has nice red/yellow colors that makes you take notice of it. Again as with other sets...I like the black/white background photos.

The Cool Threads I like, but the shirt piece could be bigger, but I'm not complaining.

I also think the design of the Thunder Strokes auto is great. I like getting something different...not the run of the mill PP Signings auto.

Overall, I was not real happy with the pulls in the box...first box i didn't pull a Stewart race used out of in a while. It seems I hit the insert/auto/race used pack ratios though. I like the slight use of silver foil accents and bordering on the base and inserts. I'd give the base and insert designs a 4/5, but the overall pulls would have to be a 3/5. It would have been nice to get one superstar race used (Gordon, Stewart, Johnson, Harvick, etc)

Ok, first and foremost, thanks to Les for all his hard work in this case break! It's alot of work, but we all appreciate it!

Now, to the cards...my first box was a HUGE disappointment! 5 duplicates and then to see my AD cards repeated in the 2nd box, down to the numbered card being 2 away. I was not very happy about that. I would think with as late as they were with this product, it would be done better. After seeing some of these case breaks already, I'd give this product a 2.5 out of 5. I think I'll stick to Eclipse and Legends next year...Oh, yeah, NO ROOKIE THUNDER in either box....

Unfortunately, I could not get into the case break in time, but last week was a good money week for me, so I bought 1 box off the bay, and here is what I pulled:

I really like the overall theme with the American Flag, not crazy about the starting grid cards.
The embossed Dream cards look sharp, and always like the acetate cards.
Pretty wild that i pull 2 autos of same driver signed differently from same box, and nice multi color of Mears. When I had stopped collecting there were no WAT, and my first new box I purchased this year was a leftover 2006 WAT, which was where I pulled my Edwards pushin pedal cards from. I became instantly hooked on these cards, in a way they remind me of 1997 cards from wheeels where they used different themes.
I rate my box a 4.5 , very nice though I need all the rookies.

Seems like most of ya posting so far have gotten some real goodies out out your boxes! WTG even if not of "your" drivers. I did not get goodies for my driver either but got some goodies reguardless.

I did not get any pushing pedal or double hats but well, I only got 4 boxes and did not do bad with the 4 considering what I have been getting. The pull oddes were better for my boxes than stated. On that even if not the greatest drivers, have to give a 4 3/4 stars of 5. I did not put all the box stated odds on pulls but know I did real close and over what stated. I am way happy with that! I really feel like got value for money this release. Thank you press pass (and I do not say that lightly as I used to get half cases and not got close to pull odds on some... and as not yet compensated for...)

I like the designs and new names of inserts. Cards are sturdy and not easily flawed by handling. Big plus when opening alot and hand collating sets and such. Even the diecuts are sturdy. Big plus to PP on this release and give it 4 3/4 for design and overall user friendliness. (is that a word?)

I sincerely hope the rest left to post got or get good pulls as well! I am still not doing much trading maybe except for base and such but do have all available for sale up on the bay already. Lauriebugg is the user name for there as well.

80 Duplicate Base Cards

I really like the Thunder Strokes - real nice looking card

The die cut Starting Grid are cool looking - I like die cut cards.

American Muscle could use a design change. I like the plastic card but they kinda look like last year's

I don't really care for the American Dream cards - they are too dark for my tastes

I hit all the odds on race used & autographs - although I was a little miffed to pull TWO Casey Mears Cool Threads. And since they are only ONE PER BOX it would have been nice to get five DIFFERENT Thunder Road cards rather than 2 of Kenseth & 2 of Montoya! It does seem like once again some boxes have extra Race used/autos. I've seen several people post four items rahter than the promised three.

I'll give 2007 WAT 4 out of 5 stars

Not sure what to compare any of these to, but I do like the Starting Grid cards. Not just because of the die-cut, but because the die-cut is different for each card. Cookie cutter designs are no fun. The Thunder Road series is nice to the touch. Not sure if I am a big fan of the Hat cards. I think I would prefer pieces of the car instead (which I'm sure is available in other series).

All in all it was a fun break and hopefully it will be the first of many for me.

As for a rating, hard for me to judge as this is my first box..but I'll give it a 3 out of 5.

Have scans but my computer is a piece of CRAP!!!!! Everything is for trade or sale except the AD, AM, & SG. I do have a few SG for trade, just ask. Oh yeah I would rate this release a 4.75 ot of 5. Great looking cards. Love the American Flag themes, absolutly awesome. The only reason they lost some points is due to some of the cutting of the cards. Some of the foil is chipped when they cut them. Hey Les maybe next year I can get in on more of YOUR box breaks. These came from ebay. LMK if anyone is interested in anything.

Tonight I bought one blaster box. It will be the last blaster box I buy of 07 WAT as it SUCKED.

**The name, brand, and year of the product

- 2007 Wheels American Thunder

**Listed inserts and odds of pulling

- Staring Grid - 4 (1:2, Waltrip, Darnell, Kinser, Clanton - quadruple boo!)
- American Muscle - 1 (1:10, Rudd - boo!)
- American Dreams 1 (1:6, Truex - ok....badly dinged corner though - boo!)
- Contest Card (1:20, yay?)

**Number of packs per box and number of cards per pack

- 7 packs, 4 cards each

**Your assessment of how your actual pulls were versus how the odds say you should have pulled

- Beat the odds, but with the drivers pulled doesn't make up for it!

**Also note if you were able to complete a base or insert set or how close you got to a complete set

- Obviously not even close. Fortunately, no doubles, but one of the cards looks as if it were caught in the machine or used as a toothpick!

**Your opinion of the quality of cards, quality of packaging, collation, etc, etc, anything a collector would be interested in before investing in this product

- Cards that came out undamaged were fine. Packs were puffy and looked overly stuffed into the box. This particular box gets an 'F' from me - the product overall gets a 'C' at best. Of the base pulled - 1/3 were cars, and over another 1/3 were C list drivers. We don't need car cards anymore - and they are still a car card if the drivers postage stamp sized head is on the front! I like the thick stock cards - but would much rather pull drivers and not cars. This boxes only highlight was that it did end after seven packs.

Hi gang, finally got my box of WAT (delayed due to an agreement between Les and myself) so here are the results:

First my thoughts:

What I liked: Once again Press Pass has produced a great set, good quality, nice sturdy card stock, and I really like the driver cards with "Old Glory" in the background.

What I didn't like: Too many "car" cards, may be like this in previous years (I didn't go back and check) but this year they seemed so prevalent that I counted them. 30 "car" cards in 3 different sub-sets that is more than 1/3 of the BASE cards (explanantion coming) of these 30 cards there are only 19 different cars! Why do we need 2 or 3 cards of the same car in one set?

SP's: while I have always liked the idea of making a base set more "collectable" by making it a little harder to collate, I am getting more frustrated by the SUPER SP cards. If the SP cards cannot be inserted at 1:20 odds or lower (i.e. 1 in a box) then these are NOT base SP's they then become inserts. Every collector should be able to get at least 1 of every base/subset cards in any box of product.
