he absolutely crushed it, a pinch hit 3 run HR off of jung bong. i have a special feeling about this team, griffey is actually looking better and better at the plate. GO REDS!!!

He hasn't hit for much of an average this year but he is absolutely tearing the cover off when he does get a hold of one.

He is our next 60+ homer man IMO.

it helps when you got a boone, kearns, griffey, in your lineup, you will see a lot more fastballs and the fact the the opposing team is pitching with the lead and don't really have to mix it up. But I do like the batting lineup.

I'm still trying to figure out when Griffey came off the DL... usually it's like the lead story on Sportscenter... I guess not too many people care much about Griffey anymore.

he came off last tuesday in the start of the st. louie series, he has started now i believe 5 games, and hit a bomb HR last night. he is looking good at the plate, and dunn wasnt even in the lineup tonight. this team is frickin loaded with offense, improve the starting pitching and playoffs is a serious possibility.

now I agree with that, they have a very potent lineup with griff hitting, almost as good as the cards, texas, bosox and yankees.

Griffey came off the DL this past Sunday, I believe.

And yes, Griffey's a has-been.

It's now Lebron that is catching all the highlights. If Lebron sneezes, we'll know.

Well Griffey was not around that much for his HR hitting so you got to give the guy some credit. But he does hit in a very good lineup.

They just need to find a way to play him, Kearns and Griffey because its been a problem for them.

The Reds are now a long-ball/strike-out team. I read in the latest SI that Boone lifted weights during the off-season. He's no little guy at 6'2" and 180.

What's great about Griffey--from what I've read--is he's making his own adjustments at every AB. He's still perfecting his swing to bring it back the way it was.

As an eternal optimist, I got his '01 etopps card and an 02 Peppers for a Babe Ruth recently. He could make a come-back if he decides to compete in the home-run derby.

I think all Griffey has to do is prove that he can go a full season without getting hurt and his cards will sky rocket again.

Looks like Griffey is starting to heat up again. Too bad the Reds pitching is kinda thin.

Griffey sucks! the Reds Suck!, By the end of the season the fire sale will begin because they'll be looking to get pitching because they wont be able to keep Dunn,Kearns, Griffey and Boone ; they'll have to pick who's gonna go and who to keep most definitely Larkin will be gone
