Ok, so theres that Big Sun-times Card Show here in Chicago this weekend: Friday 5-9:30 Saturday 9:30-5 and sunday 9:30-5.

I'm wondering if I should go Friday 5-930 or Saturday 1-5(I cant get there until 1).

I want to go tomorrow but my only doubt is that not all the dealers will be there. So my question basically is: At card shows (Fri-Sun) are there some dealers that wait until saturday to come? or am I safe going Friday?

Sorry if that didnt make sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I could I would go Friday and Sunday. Friday to see what is there and get the more elusive stuff I need. I would go Sunday for the deals.

I agree. You always go the last day towards the end. The dealers want to unload everything.
If you get a chance, please take some pictures and write up a review for the events area.
Please feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Steve

Another question I have, Do you guys bring your cards to this event? Do the dealers trade cards or accept cash/card offers?

Some do. It never hurts to ask.
Thanks,
Steve

There not a dealer in the world that will not accept a trade offer. Just remember it not going to be book for book unless it is a rare card, he has a customer he can flip it too or on the bay, etc.

Most dealers like to get cash as they had to pay for the table that way. Sounds bad but they are not in it for the hobby nor is the show promoter that is probably charging them a few hundred dollars for the table. Dealers who are paying hundred or dollars for a table will almost be there on FRIDAY. There will be a few that might not be but the MAJORITY will be.

p.s. As Steve said if you could do a write up and post about it in the EVENT FORUMS we would love that. Nothing better than hearing about a show and all the eye candy you pick up. Thanks and best of luck in your show experience!!
