Once everyone busts their box(es) of 2007 Press Pass Legends, could you please make a nice, orderly post showing what you got out of your boxes. Also, if possible, provide a scan of the best card you pulled? If you need help posting scans, PM anyone on the SCF Racing team and we will try to help. Also please make sure to put how you felt about this product, quality of cards, pull ratios, looks, etc., good or bad post it and be honest.

When reviewing a product that you have personally opened, try to include....

**The name, brand, and year of the product
**Listed inserts and odds of pulling
**Number of packs per box and number of cards per pack
**Your assessment of how your actual pulls were versus how the odds say you should have pulled
**Also note if you were able to complete a base or insert set or how close you got to a complete set
**Your opinion of the quality of cards, quality of packaging, collation, etc, etc, anything a collector would be interested in before investing in this product

As usual nice cards overall. The card stock seems a little thinner than last year. I like that they opened up the base set to more than 50 cards. Nice looking set overall. The numbering on the autos is very odd. I wonder if they're some connotation that hasn't been explained. I'd give it 4/5. Might have been 5/5 if I'd have pulled some really spectacular stuff or of my drivers. The JJ auto and 'Bama Gang have trade offers pending. The rest are all FT.

Sitting at my parents house tonight I decided I couldn't wait any longer and I busted my box! I truly KNOW I am collecting the wrong drivers (Dale Sr & Harvick) based on the number of total cards that were produced for each (93 for Dale Sr & 37 for Harvick) GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Below is a quick write up of my pulls. I must say that I liked what I did pull, just a little confused as to WHY I pulled a 2006 VIP Sig Series card out of Legends??? I'm not complaining mind you, just wondering WHY? lol

All in all a pretty nice release. The low #'d cards I guess justify the price increase and beating the odds was nice as well. Still need some cards to finish a base set but luckily, no duplicates.

Only thing I can say bad about this release, some of the pictures are getting old. Time to check out some of the old record books and grab some new photos.

I'd give this release an overall 4.75 out of 5 and a 5 out of 5 based on the fact that I at least pulled a r/u card of one of my drivers and added a couple more cool autos to my PC! :party0053:

This is my first ever purchase of Legends, and I have to say I am impressed with the base card look, and thickness,
The design of the auto'd cards was a little lame for my taste,The father & son is awesome looking, though on my particlular card I do not understand why a b&w of Davey Allison. Good box for me imho, only need 4 to complete the base. My assesment is 4.7 out of 5, maybe cause it's my 1st box ever of Legends, but I like the classy b&w photos of the Legends.

Overall, I like the style of the base set and the variety of black/white and color photos. It's a simple but pleasing design.

The Memorable Momoments and Legends inserts are neat, but I'm still not real fond of the foil look on cards, but don't hate it.

The autograph cards are kind of plain, but I actually like them. They have a nostalgic look with the black and white photo and are not an eye sore. Both my autos are very clean and readable.



I personally am gaining a hatred of parallel cards...way too many unnecessary parallel cards....if PP is going to make parallels, I would like to see just one parallel that is rare #/99 or less instead of 4 different color ones #/999 and below. In fact, I'd give back all the parallel cards for one more memorabilia card and the four base cards I needed to complete the set.

Overall, I am happy with my "first-ever" box of Legends, but wasn't happy with the two cards with the severely dinged corners. I'm not sure I got my moneys worth and was hoping for more for a $100+ box. I was hoping for at least a complete base set. I wish I could have gotten more cards of my driver, but don't we all. I would grade the box a 4.5/5 on design, but a 4/5 on contents and pulls I received. All cards are for trade except the base cards and the Stewart blue holofoil...send me a PM if interested

Broke the two boxes of Legends I got from Les. You are a remarkable man, taking the lead on these and managing them so magnificently with all of the personal trials and tribulations in your path. Thank you!

I'm not going to detail the individual boxes. All delivered the proper percentages of parallels, inserts, race used and autographs. Four of the numbered parallels had damaged lower left corners and all were damaged in exactly the same manner, yet all came out of different packs. Go figure. Back to PP they go.

All in all, I am happy with my 4 boxes and of course wishing I had gotten more! LOL! Been happier with a sr or jr ru of course but can't always get what you want... I as well had 2 dinged up parallels and from different packs. Not worth the hassle to send back. Did anyone notice that card #63 is upside down? Well the back is anyway from all the rest of set. The parallels are as well. Thought I had me a variation for a min. LOL! And according to the checklist boomergagen posted, there were going to be other year sig. series inserted into this release. Why, I do not know and why they were not in the releases they should have been... No wonder alot of us got shorted boxes thru out the year... and PP has yet to compensate on that one case Kathy & I both were shorted on... Is why I not get half cases anymore. Oh well, not here to complain but to state how I feel on this release. I really like it! The quality of the card stock is excellent! Have always loved Legends but agree they could use some new pics. They really over do with all the parallel levels. Being I do Sr & Jr, have quite the chore to chase down all I did not get in boxes. I need new cheaper drivers! LOL! Not. For quality, even with the 2 dinged corners, I give this release 4.5 of 5 stars. For ratio of pulls, I did better than stated so 4.75 of 5 stars. Only put that because all did not get so great.

Any I not keeping will be up for sale on the bay. Lauriebugg there as well for those that not know me.
Will try to put some pics up but... not sure if will take or not.

Release Review:
I personally think a base set and FOUR parallel sets is overkill!
To only complete 2 Base sets from 4 boxes is sad.

Silver & Gold versions of the inserts bugs me also. I'll never get a Master set


To pull THREE Rex White Autographs is beyond annoying!!


The Sunday Swatches are great cards!

Some of the inserts are to foily - fingerprints & flaking are an issue

Some of the stamped numbers aren't real clear - foil flaking?

I don't think I like Legends - to many versions of the same cards!

HI gang, finally got my 2 boxes of Legends yesterday. Busted the first one fast and while sitting in the car so no breakdown by box.

As has been the case for the last 2 years, Press Pass has put out another great produst in Legends. The card stock is sturdy, and the pictures are great. I love the nice clean look of the base cards, and the white this year is anice change frm the black borders of the previous 2 sets.

I do not, however, like the foil cards, way too shiny and easy to leave fingerprints on that are very hard to remove. The number of parallel sets is also very hard to live with, Press Pass should cut it back to 2.

I have listed a few cards I am keeping noted accordingly, and also a few pulls that are listed with names that would have the first chance at trading for them.

Better then that apprently, nearly 3x the price, LOL. There's one on eBay right now at $305.00 with 4 days left to bid!!! Blew me away pulling a 2006 VIP card from the 2007 Legends box, LOL!!!

no they fail to get the cards back from the drivers in time to put them in the correct product...so they normally dump then in Legends or holiday blasters...
exception to this is the 2004 Burning rubber and 2005 trading paint signature series...NONE of any driver was ever pulled...
