We're 10 minutes away from the lottery. What team gets the 1st pick?
I'm going with New York or Cleveland.

I am praying for a miracle, and say Lakers get the #1 pick, then trade it to Cleveland for a bunch of picks down the line, some players, and cash.

But, in reality, New York, like in 1985, will get the #1 pick.

NBA needs to get Lebron into high-power market --- Chicago, New York. L.A. isn't probable, since everyone will then know it's fixed for sure.

I'm going to go with the Cavs. They NEED TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY TICKETS and James will do it.

the cav's would be good even though they are not in a big market, their games come on at a decent time for all

The only teams left are Cleveland,Denver and Memphis. If Memphis gets the 2nd or 3rd pick it goes to Detroit.

#3 = Nuggets

#2 = Memphis (but, this pick will go to Detroit, via a prior deal)

#1 = Cleveland!!!!

Cleveland got it!!! That means the 2nd pick goes to Detroit. WOW, Carmelo playing with Rip and Big Ben!! Watch out!!!

I am just glad that NY and Chicago didn't get it.

Chicago would have been tough with James,Curry and possibly KG!! I'm glad, too.

just their luck right

it was a good draft for the state of cleveland carson palmer and lebron, do you think that the cav's will do the same thing the bengals did and sign lebron before the draft...

Word is Detroit is going to take Milicic and move Ben Wallace to power forward.

Looks like Carmelo's going to Denver. Detroit has already worked out Milicic and would like to move Wallace to power forward.

Well, I guess Nikoloz, Pedrag and Darko can all talk to eachother about the loss in their native language.

I guess Carmelo is a good pick.

Carmelo is better than any of those foreigners they got last year... very dumb picks last year IMO for the Nugs!

Wade, it's Wade big guy... he kicked Pitt's *** in that Sweet 16 game!

Jones has a GREAT first step, but I question his overall shooting ability just like J Wills.

Well, I think Hilario is pretty good... but so far Nikoloz is a bust! I know you have seen some Carmelo games but I wouldn't judge anyone on a couple games, especially since he was a Freshman. I was hoping the Nuggets would get Lebron or Darko though. Houston is my #1 team, so hopefully they will continue to improve.

LE LE to NE NE for the Slam Jam!!

You could see the disappointment during the draft as the representatives found out they weren't getting the #1 pick

i dont think so. they just signed cliff for 2 more years, and they would have to sit him if they did pick Milicic. o, ben does play PF sometimes. cliff is sometimes at C.

The 18 year old Malicic will need 2 years before he could even think about being a fulltime starter.

Also, did anyone watch Ricky Lake last night? They had on a kid who's 12 years old (will be 13 in July) who was 6-9 already. They flew him out to meet Shaq and they played some one-on-one.

That's what was reported during the Pistons/Nets game. Dumars didn't deny the rumors. We'll see come draft time.
