Is it true that these 2003 Prestiege FB Boxes are loaded with Game Used and usually an Auto #'d to 50!

Yeah but won't that make the cards you pull worthless if everyone gets 5-6 per box. Doesn't sound that rare.

pwaldo, I know what your saying. Way too many Game Used per box but a lot of people are pulling the nice autos #'d to 50 along with 5 - 6 Game Used cards!

I'm sure the cards will carry a moderate value. Look at Bowman's Best. They had one game used/auto RC per pack. I'm sure that they game used from the prestige will carry pretty decent value, especially if they are serial numbered. I mean that's why companies are doing this anymore, to boost sales they have improved the kinds of cards and limited them to so many at a time that is made(serial numbers).

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting an autograph #d out of 50. :D

If you got somebody good then that alone should make the box worth it.

pwaldo, A good auto #'d to 50 would be nice. I wonder if these are Hot Boxes! I have never heard of that much in a box.

I opened a box today. Got 2 crummy game used and no auto. So much for the 5-6 game used and auto #/50 theory.

From what i hear it's good players - These must be Hot boxes because some people only pull a couple of GU!

i got one of those 8 pack value boxes and i got 4 regular rookies..a numbered rookie, conference leaders with manning/vick/etc.../500 and a game used jersey duce staley

Yea...I guess I hit a hot box at my hobby store. They had just opened a box of FB Prestige....I got the top 5 packs on the left side in order and I pulled:

1. Boss Bailey base RC
2. Kurt Warner Gridiron Heritage insert
3. Brian Griese Game Day Jerseys GU (navy)
4. Randy Moss Game Day Jerseys GU (white)
5. Jerome Bettis/Kordells Stewart Back Field Tandems Dual Jerseys GU (white/white) seq. #ed 113/400!!!

Makes me wonder what the hell else is in that box hehe.

The Playoff Prestige has what I've heard as "Hot Boxes"... I did very well with my boxes.. As far as their worth due to mass production, I almost don't really care because I've gotten so many bad boxes in my life... I'll always (probably) be able to trade these cards for someone I really want.. For instance, if someone has a card that I WANT for my collection, I don't mind giving up something that may be worth more, I will have felt as if I was successful in my deal.. So, with that said...Let me get 4, 5 or 6 Game Used or Autograph per box !!!

One of the most enjoyable boxes I have opened, and a hot box to boot as the 2nd box had 4 GUs and an AUTO (which counts as 2 GUs).
