This tutorial is to help members make trades with or without the new inventory system (http://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?t=410300).
POSTING A TRADE/SALE
To post a trade click on Trade Manager in the navigation bar or go to your User CP (http://www.sportscardforum.com/usercp.php). In the User CP go to Trade Manager and Post Trade.

You will be brought to Step 1. Type in the user name of the member you are trading with. Start typing the user name and the system will bring up user names automatically.

After you select the user name select the Trade Type.

The first two options are if you are using the inventory system (Buy and sell or trade) and the third option is for using the old trade manager (free text). Click Next Step.
If using the inventory system you will be brought to a screen that will ask you to select the cards you are trading/selling/buying. Both member's inventory will be displayed and you simply use the check boxes if you are trading cards. If you are using cash to buy/sell then fill in the cash box.

At any time you can use the "Quick add" feature. Simply click "add more cards)" and you can add cards to your inventory quickly.

Once you have filled out all the details click "Submit Trade" and your trade will show up in your Trade List.

The other member can confirm, reject or edit the trade (click on the trade number).
Each member involved in a trade can also use the Edit Offer option until the Trade has been confirmed by both parties. Just click on the menu, and then select the Edit Offer option. You will be able to select/remove cards and change money amount. The other trader will then receive another PM, notifying him that you submitted a new offer for the trade.

The other member will get a PM notifying them of the pending trade.

After both parties accept the cards are "locked" in your inventory and can not be sold or traded until both members make the trade as complete. Once the trade is complete the inventory is swapped and unlocked for future trading. Members can also start a trade while using the Card Search (http://www.sportscardforum.com/cardshow.php?do=inventory) or looking at a card.

This inventory integration into the trade manager is highly encouraged, but members can still use the old trade manager (select option 3 in step 1).
