I will be collecting Philip Rivers and Jericho Cotchery when next year's FB cards are released. I'm sure Iggy Pop will be after Larry Fitzgerald if he turns pro. Anyone else have plans to go after certain players in this year's draft?

I will be collecting anyone who goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers and also trying to get a few cards of Fitzgerald. I will look out for your players when next years products come out.

Bgray nice calls on those two. If i were gonna collect an upcoming rookie, I would be looking at Roy Williams of UT. I also think Teddy Lehman is pretty good to dont know how he will fair in the NFL but he is a great college player.

I was just investigating some of the older threads when I saw ones that interested me. I thought the Welker comment was interesting b/c he was pretty much a no buddy in 03 but look at him now. IMO its pretty cool that some collectors went after him right out of college.

Just surprised people collected him. When I got into collecting (late 80's) people weren't really super collectors of lower draft picks. I returned to the hobby in 04 and I think this type of collecting is interesting since most lower draft picks and FA are out of the league rather quickly. I understand some collect players from their favorite colleges but Welker still had to be a nice surprise.
