Gezzzz, let the kid at least start playing in the NBA. Remember how everyone was so big on Kwame? He's garbage... you got to give them time to show their stuff before you can start making comparisions.

He's started half a season and done well. Just wait for a few more years before saying Stoudamire is great. I don't even want to begin to start naming the one year wonders in the NBA.

I agree with Iggy Lebron looks good agaist high school kids, wait till he gets to the nba. If he went to college for like 2 years he would be so much better and more experienced

Too bad LeBron has an ego the size of his Hummer. But I think he'll do well unless he's overwhelmed by the pressure.

While Lebron clearly has good basketball skills, remember that he's bigger, faster, stronger, and more athletically gifted than most high school players.

He's got a lot of work to do, primarily on his mid-range jumpers.

Now, I ask you this question:

Lebron will be getting $40M from Nike, millions more from other endorsement contracts, not to mention the ridiculous salary he commands as an NBA rookie.

You think Lebron is going to work on his deficiencies....or do a Shawn Kemp and go impregnant as many chicks as he can?

I say he does a Shawn Kemp.

Kobe is a once-in-a-lifetime player ---- someone who makes a ton of money, but whose ambition is to be the best basketball player ever.

You need motivation, desire, passion, and heart; not just athletic skills.

Look at Vince Carter. Remember all the hoopla?

No one even puts Carter into the same sentence when talking about Kobe and the best NBA players, **UNLESS**, it is to say

"...Vince Carter couldn't hold Kobe's jock strap..."

Lebron James will be your over-hyped super star, much like a Jerry Stackhouse or an Antoine Walker.

No way can he be put into Kobe's shoes, or even Allen Iverson.
