He's got a lot of work to do, primarily on his mid-range jumpers. Now, I ask you this question: Lebron will be getting $40M from Nike, millions more from other endorsement contracts, not to mention the ridiculous salary he commands as an NBA rookie. You think Lebron is going to work on his deficiencies....or do a Shawn Kemp and go impregnant as many chicks as he can? I say he does a Shawn Kemp. Kobe is a once-in-a-lifetime player ---- someone who makes a ton of money, but whose ambition is to be the best basketball player ever. You need motivation, desire, passion, and heart; not just athletic skills. Look at Vince Carter. Remember all the hoopla? No one even puts Carter into the same sentence when talking about Kobe and the best NBA players, **UNLESS**, it is to say "...Vince Carter couldn't hold Kobe's jock strap..." Lebron James will be your over-hyped super star, much like a Jerry Stackhouse or an Antoine Walker. No way can he be put into Kobe's shoes, or even Allen Iverson. |
