as some of you know, i collect jeter cards... i'm not trying to get every single one because i'd be broke... but i do try to get what i can. do you guys think they'll retain their value down the road? or do you think he'll fade out and the value of his cards will go down the tubes? i'm not planning to sell them ever... but i do trade gu for them sometimes... gu that might retain value better than his cards. so what does everyone think?

Jeter's always a good pickup. He's a solid guy that might not put up Arod numbers every year, but he's a guy you can count on year after year and he'll be a HOF in the future.

Jeter will definately hold his value. He hits .300 with 190+hits,
15-20 HR's, 110-120Runs, 70-80RBI and 20-30 steals a year, every year. He will go down as possibly one of the top 5 shortstops of all-time. Are there any Jeter's you are currently looking for? I might have some to trade. Not sure though.

Molina, I collect anything not on my havelist... even the $1 UD Victory cards... whatever I can get, I like. :)

I've noticed that his cards stay fairly steady, so I'm hoping they continue to. I have a few regrets about trading away some GU for a bunch of low-end Jeters, but live and learn. :)

as a fellow jeter collector , i think his cards will go up if anything because DJ has more world series rings then Arod Nomar Tejada and Vizquel combined
