today was the detroit tigers tigers fest and i went!!! to sum up my day is was good bad and ended good
i started with 2 pudge rodriguez autographed cards and if anyone knows pudge he rarely signs and i was schocked to get him, also got dan petry and the same booth as him, then i waited 2 hours in line, they dont tell who, or when someone is signing you choose a line and hope its good, as i waited curtis granderson signed where i waited in line and was still in line when he left after his 55 minutes, then came in jim leyland and jon warden??1968 tigers, i was living i was so upset, so a bunch of us let others go ahead and line so we could wait for the next signers, but the staff said go through and get stuff signed or back of the line :(. so i got leyland and warden on the same brochure as i had petrey on, then i quickly got in line as it was pretty dead since ppl left since they didnt like the signers, so im thinking i'll get the next people, it was clay rapeda and JUSTIN VERLANDER!!!, my favorite player ever!!!! i ended up getting 2 minutes short of him signing at put a damper on my day, who signs after him...rick porcello(tigers 2007 #1 pick) that was alright but had no baseball and they havent made a card of him so i got him and andy van slyke on the same brochere as everybody else, to end the day my mom got tim byrdak on a brochere and i got jeremy bonderman on a card which was really good, also my mom got jim leyland to sign a 2006 team card, so it wasnt terrible and a pretty reasonable day

will sell the 2 pudges if anyone wants them at 30 dollars apiece, expensive yes but i could get more for them and hes impossible to sign

gosh, it was bad timing in the line, the line i kept going through had a good one then bad then good again and then bad and i was usually off timing the whole time
but i was happy with 2 pudges, and bondo

they were, but i never saw them and yes pudge is EXTREMELY diffcult to get, he rarely will do public events and almost never does it before,after games etc,

Hmm nice success man, i'd of wanted Willis, that guy is a beast, so is Verlander, i'd have loved to gone, and got them both to sign something on the same index card or something

yea, i really wanted willis as well, and almost freaked when i missed verlander, i mean verlander compared to rick porcello, no contest

Hey, Pudge made it a nice day for you! He is a guy that will be in the Hall of Fame someday! I have a lot of in person Tigers from when they were in Triple A, Mags, Thames, Inge, etc. Let me know if you would be willing to trade that Pudge! I should be able to come up with something you would like. He might actually equal a few more Tigers autos that way for you! Thanks for telling us about the event and PM me if interested in a trade.

I would also like to get Pudge I only saw him sign one time, but I wouldn't pay that much. Grsnderson signs through the mail if you want him really bad, I hear. I might get Verlander today, we'll see.

well your best bet is places near detroit like southfield, detroit have some hotels but there are some crazy people in detroit, so i dont think they will be staying near there
