View Full Version : Who are the best baseball ttm signers. Cubbieblue29 01-19-2008, 05:00 PM I already know Neshek, Dawson, Valenzuela, Ausmus, Larussa, Francona. Who else? NOlowryVA 01-19-2008, 07:51 PM sparky anderson indyreds 01-22-2008, 10:10 PM Check out the baseball thread to see who is signing well. Some great HOF signers would include Al Kaline, Duke Snider and Bobby Doerr! Many current players sign c/o team like Trevor Hoffman, Woody Williams and Jason Bay! Players also sign while in the minors c/o those teams. Best of luck and please share as you grow your collection. I saw him several times at Scranton and after he came back on a rehab assignment in July I think he became very picky and often snuck out, sometimes using Jeff Karstens as a decoy to get his truck. Now I am seeing him signing in Spring Training. I would love to know what happened to my stuff I sent him last August. Oh well, lol. Probably in the trash. Hopefully I get my Spring Training package back. I sent him a card and a ticket stub from Game 3 of the playoffs (the game he won for the Yanks). Be nice to have that back. 5050autos 03-08-2008, 06:24 PM Mark Buehlre is good ambrosia2 03-08-2008, 07:05 PM wow, i looked at that name list and had to laugh - in 1989 I sent out cards to Tony Larussa and Fernando Valenzuela and they were both very quick and gracious signers - another one (at leats in 1989) Tommy Lasorda AK47 03-09-2008, 12:14 AM Add Mark Grace as a great TTMer. Bobby Bonillia has been signing lately. Bernie Williams also has been fulfilling almost every request, however some think is a ghost signer. Indyreds said Al Kaline, but my notes say Al Kaline Charges. Its minimal but he still charges like $5-10. If you're willing to pay I just got a returned unsigned card from Bob Feller. He wants $10 per auto. That not bad if you're wanting to get OMLB signed. 203gunner 03-16-2008, 08:41 PM Steve Farr, Wade Boggs, and Scott Sanderson have been pretty good. Shawon Dunston was good, he take a little while but he gets them to you. Joba seems to be pretty good this year as well though he is only signing one item. Jason Giambi signed for me last year, Kei Igawa seems to be good TTM. There are a lot of guys out there who sign. Some take time, others are quick turn around. xtra-innings 03-18-2008, 02:07 PM Here's a list of past and present players/coaches/announcers I have had TTM successes with during the 2006 and 2007 seasons: HOFers: George Kell, Sparky Anderson, Duke Snider, Bobby Doerr, Billy Williams (can be hit and miss), Paul Molitor, Don Sutton, Jerry Coleman (HOF announcer), Bob Uecker (HOF announcer), Milo Hamilton (HOF announcer), Vin Scully (HOF announcer), **** Williams, Goose Gossage, Bruce Sutter (long wait 6+ months) and Tom Lasorda.
