lovdavey94 03-04-2008, 02:19 PM The card is a 1992 Traks card number is 155. On the front it has ted musgrave and D. K. Ulrich. The back has the stats of musgrave and a breif history of his carreer. On the front is where the error is. The spelling of teds last name is wrong. It has mugrave instead of musgrave. I also have the same card that is right. I think I got them both out of the same foil packs when I bought them. I have been trying to get info on this card since I got in 1992 and have never found anything. Here is a scan of the front of both cards.

SHELBYSALEEN 03-04-2008, 06:22 PM HOW do you know the difference in the harry gant power pak gold and non gold cards. I just bought a set and there was zero mention of gold on the outside. It ended up being gold on the inside. [Still needed them but now i need to know how to find the non gold version]

You pretty much summed it up there. Beckett lists the error card as #155a and the corrected card as #155b. I don't remember either of them being too hard to find.

I dont believe so, but I could be wrong. Usually the others that are listed as a or b they dont actually have the letters on them.
Ashley
outsk8u 03-05-2008, 08:02 PM no the cards won't have an a or b on them...it is done as a reference for collectors to know to look for two different versions...

No these do not have a "A" or "B" on them. They realized through the print run what had happened and made the change.

Hi Michael-
Looks like it was just the luck of the draw, and you got pretty lucky! According to the information I have, these sets came in 36 set cases with the following ratio:
15 sets of Earnhardt
10 sets of Rusty
5 sets of Gant
3 sets of Earnhardt Gold
2 sets of Rusty Gold
1 set of Gant Gold
So you got the 1 per case Gant Gold set. It looks like one out of every six Gant sets are gold, so chances are pretty good that the next set you buy won't be the gold one.
Hope this helps!

SHELBYSALEEN 03-06-2008, 03:47 PM Thank you tom, I will try again and hopefully not get lucky lol. It is wild the smaller my list gets the more expensive it gets

tmoneywon 05-04-2008, 02:39 AM Correct me if i'm wrong but the online price guides at beckett aren't free. You can sign up but have to pay for the online guide.
For older cards and need a price quick I go to Tuff Stuff they have online archives of all their price guides and they are totally free.
Here's a link to the racing one:
http://www.tuffstuff.com/Portals/8/archiverace.pdf
skippy 05-04-2008, 10:34 AM Actually by minipulating the 'My Collection' in beckett you can check for individual card prices. But anytime one needs a price, the staff can get it for you.
Thanks
Mike
debgram 05-04-2008, 10:57 AM well I don't when I first joined (Beckett)I asked for a price and I was banned for a week. I was told this is a trading forum.
tmoneywon 05-04-2008, 11:03 AM Sorry I was just trying to provide a true FREE reference. I personally stay away from Beckett trading boards, as I find most traders do, hence the creation of sites like this one.
debgram 05-04-2008, 11:07 AM you have nothing to be sorry for. I have used Tuff Stuff from time to time. It's Beckett's forum that I stay away from, I think being moderator's over there has gone to their heads. I hear a lot of guys getting banned for silly crap over there.
munozqc886 05-04-2008, 12:27 PM You are more than welcomed to ask for any prices here, I have a subscription, as do many others, and we are more than willing to provide any bv.'s you might need from beckett.
debgram 05-04-2008, 01:08 PM thanks guys. I mostly mess with football and the racing stuff is my brother's that he wants to get rid of because he doesn't collect anymore. When I get around to sorting his other racing stuff I'll be asking for BV's. Thanks again
Tdpkid 05-06-2008, 12:27 AM OK i have a question about a card if anyone can help i would appreciate it greatly. The card is a 2000 High Gear Tony Stewart. Thanx Tommy

It's listed under the regular High Gear set in beckett:
2000 Wheels High Gear 2000 T.Stewart High Gear (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:popUpAdd%28%27/myCollection/item_detail.asp?action=view&lPGItemID=2234189%27%29) $2.00 $5.00
tmoneywon 05-27-2008, 09:52 PM Ok I have a question, for some reason I can't find a listing. I'm pretty sure it was From 2000 UD Maxximum.....I won on the bay for 12$ so I think it was a good deal. I also think it's his RC Auto.

3DALESR 05-27-2008, 09:56 PM HIGH BV IS $50.00, nice pick up.
tmoneywon 06-15-2008, 10:59 AM Got another one I can't figure out. A couple guys want this Jimmie Johnson Auto, but I can't figure out if it's a 2001 Wheels or 2002. On the back, at the bottom the copyright and print year is 2001. That's the only Date on the card. But I can't find him listed in that Wheels set. He is listed in the 2002 Wheels Set.
Is this a 2001 or 2002 Wheels Jimmie Johnson Autogrpah??? and the current BV.

StillBig20Fan 06-15-2008, 12:56 PM Definately a 2002 not sure as to the value though
tmoneywon 06-15-2008, 01:54 PM Thanks I wasn't sure if it was a 2002 since it has the date of 2001 on it. I think it books in the 80$ range but not sure. Anyone have a current BV?? Can't believe his Maxximum only has BV of 50. For winning as many championships as he has his cards are kinda undervalued in my opinion.
doG sI kcivraH 06-15-2008, 02:05 PM You are correct, it books $80

nascards 05-01-2009, 03:39 PM This may sound like a stupid Question.
BUT the NEW 2009 Premium Win Streak set.
Is the track the same on the back of each card ?
IE: Where it says scratch here to reveal TRACK and Code.
Is the Track the same track on ALL of Jimmie win streak cards
OR are all they different tracks ?
If I have 2 Johnson win streak cards and I scratch the track/code
on both are they same or different ?
Hope this makes since ?

They're all different from what I've been told. Although you COULD possibly have two with the same track on them. Each driver has enough of the scratch cards to have multiple tracks listed.

There's the Win Streak inserts (like 6 per box), and then there's Win Streak Contest Entry Cards (1 in every 5 boxes or so).

There's the Win Streak inserts (like 6 per box), and then there's Win Streak Contest Entry Cards (1 in every 5 boxes or so).YEAH, what Jeremy said, lol.
I believe it's actually called Win Streak "Victory Lane" Contest card (according to the sell sheet description).
It's kind of like a Cup Chase card except that it is race specific for that driver once you scratch off the card. I do not know if there are different races for each driver, but I believe there may be. I will post that question to Press Pass for a reply.
Enigma 05-02-2009, 03:05 AM Now I feel better as someone gave me a box of Premium cards (after pulling out the hits as they said they were just going to throw away the cards....which I call a sacrilege to throw away any cards) and I had 5 of the inserts in there. Seeing this posted made me scratch my head...lol
race crazy 05-03-2009, 07:03 PM I have a question about the win streak contest cards-does Carl Edwards have one? I know hes in the regular win streak set but I have yet to see a contest card for him on ebay-if anyone knows id appreciate it.
nascards 05-04-2009, 12:28 PM I e-mail Press Pass and asked them this
Exact question. This was there answer to me.
Hey there! Not a stupid question at all. The tracks on the back of the cards are all random and different. BUT There is a chance the scratch off will reveal the same track. Let me know if you have anymore questions! Thanks!

Initially that was a main feature, but now it's mainly just for general questions about specific cards (print runs/odds/etc.). Beckett doesn't allow us to give out prices anymore.....but SCF is working on their own price guide!
