Cavs send R. Davis to the Wolvers for Wally.
I heard this one a while ago and it seems to be picking up some steam.

i think its a good trade for the cavs, wally is a good shooter who can score when needed and also is a good guy. davis seems to be a cancer who cares more about himself than the team. if the cavs made this deal, they would improve an already improved team.

Yeah, I'd rather have Wally than Ricky. Wally is an overall better player, too, IMO.

How about the rumor on there about Abdur-Rahim, that would be a big trade for the T-Wolves.

now that's a great trade for the Wolves!!
Wally is purely a set shooter, who depends on others either setting screens for him or else the defense to leave him alone to shoot.
Wally is basically your poor man's Reggie Miller.
Ricky Davis may cause headaches, but he's much much more talented than Wally, and given that Wally hasn't done much ( I can't believe he made the All Star team!!), Davis can't be worse.

I'd like to see what Abdur-Rahim could do on a winning team.
He's only played for the Grizzlies and the Hawks but has put up pretty good numbers. Garnett and him could make a very good combo.

Abdur Rahim is a deeply religious Muslim person and devoted to his family
He made the trade to go to Atlanta and be near his family.
He made the choice to play with the Hawks
He's well-compensated.
He knew what he was getting into when he signed with Atlanta

Yeah but unless he has a no trade clause the Hawks can still trade him.

Not a good enough trade for the T-wolves, b/c those players still won't get the T-wolves further than what KG has done.
But add in Eddy Curry, and there's a great trade for the T-wolves

thats a good deal for the t-wolves. with garnetts money, they will never win because they cant put enough around him.
