Ottawa 67s vs Barrie Colts

My Mom decided in the morning that she would like to come with me, otherwise I would have been by myself. Game was awesome! Probably the best game I have been to in a longtime! I have a new favourite player and his name is Chris Perugini (67s goalie) this guy is going places( he is only 16!), wow is he fast! Finally after what seems like forever Jamie McGuinn, and Logan Couture were both back in the lineup (reason for going) and the 67s finally had their teamsets for sale (word to the wise the new cards have coating on them like Artifacts, so rub them down!) I didn't and some of the autos didn't turn out as well as I would like.

like the Civic Centre and went over to another arena, forgot about Winterlude road closures) so got a little bit lost on the way, but managed to make the end of the first period

CWHL (Canadian Womens Hockey League) Ottawa vs. Montreal

I strongly recommend anyone who is a hockey fan check out these games, the caliber of play is amazing.

Made friends with the team / league photgrapher after I bought a set of Ottawa cards, and he after the game sent the ladies right to me to sign cards (unfortunately the only had the first half of the team set out)

was able to get

and the reason for going

Canadian Olympians Katie Weatherston and Kim St. Pierre

Weatherston signed 3 cards, and a 4x6 (from the Olympics) chatted with her for quite awhile, about the games, and womens hockey in general - very nice lady

and then Kim St. Pierre (goalie)

came right over to me and shook my hand, signed 2 4x6s (from Olympics), and 4 cards - she commented that she didn't have the O Canada card of herself, I offered her one of mine but she said it was okay. Chatted with her pretty much till the bus was ready to leave, must say that I was abit in awe of meeting her.

I had brought my camera along with me so my Mother took pictures of me with Weatherston, and St. Pierre, they will be going on the wall for sure!
