Molina started it off with his Texas Rangers thread, where he gave recaps of the Rangers games.

I copied his style and gave updates daily of the Angels and Dodgers.

off day news: once again brad penny pitches well again, damaged goods i still question. ryan freel was placed on the DL after last nights game, ray olmedo comes back up and will see permanent action at 2B for a while. freel will miss 4-6 weeks with a torn hamstring. jeff austin was sent to AAA louisville and although a move hasnt been move, it looks like russell branyan will be activated. deals have been rumored, but with boston getting BK kim today, any rumors of someone to boston is probably washed for the time being. rumor is the yankees are looking for a bat, they have mentioned giles, juan gone, beltran, lowell and griffey. i believe a move will be made soon, this team needs pitching, and fast. GO REDS, big series and revenge against the red hot fish tommorow.

hey, if they can get someone good for Griffey Jr., they ought to do the deal.

It's not like Griffey's a youngster any more.

Griffey will never go to the Yanks. He's hated them since he was a kid.

griffey hits a HR in the 9th tonight off looper to tie it, he goes deep in the 11th off almanza to win it. LETS GO REDS!!!

reds take on the marlins again, if they want to take 2 in a row, it will have to be against the lefty who stymied them last sunday, rookie dontrelle willis. he will be opposed by danny graves who he defeated last sunday. the reds need a win in at least one of the next two, they then head home to face the yankees for 3 and then the blue jays for 3. LETS GO REDS!!!

It's refreshing to see Griffey able to hit 2 dingers in a game, the second time this season. I'll be happy if he can have a dozen jacks by the all-star break.

the reds were defeated by dontrelle willis on saturday night 3-2, but today they put 9 runs on marlins starter carl pavano, including a 7 run inning. they welcome the yankees in on tuesday night, hopefully they win rather easily today.

He has had some terrible luck since joining the Reds.
His 4th year there and he hasn't been healthy for any of them.

strained bicep, they believe for overcompensating in the cage getting back so quick after the seperated shoulder (a week early). he is day to day and is available to pinch hit tonight, but boone is at SS and branyan will start at 3rd i believe.

I read he experienced a tingly numb feeling in his elbow but it soon went away. He came back without being fully healed and it's a smart move to keep him out of the line-up tonight.

stephen smitherman will be called up to replace the recently DLed kent mercker. austin kearns is likely looking at DL trip for his shoulder and possible concussion suffered yesterday. jose acevedo will probably be called up. also, jose guillen and sean casey face 2 and 3 game suspensions respectively. the reds look to take the battle of ohio today at 1:05 against the indians.

The Red's got rocked tonight, 12-2. The red's need to stop scheduling games in Houston, they cannot seem to win there. Griffey hit a solo shot so maybe he is getting back on track.

they are back, reds win 6-1, dempster pitches good and griffey goes yard, also jose guillen goes 3-5 with 2 RBI's. BTW, sup darrin, we can always use more reds fans on here, lets get another tommorow.
