Picked up a box & 4 loose packs of 07-08 SP Rookie Edition on Monday and here are the 3 hits that I got as well as a look at the other cards design.

Product Description:

14 Packs per box, 8 Cards per pack
Average price per box, $68-$80

Find at least 42 rookie cards and 2 autograph cards per box on average. With 3 rookie cards per pack this is your best chance to grab all the rookies from the highly touted 2007-08 NBA Draft class. Look for rookie cards in classic and unique SP designs from 94/95 SP, 96/97 SP, 97/98 SP and 1998 SP with special autograph versions!!!

Please be advised that SP Rookie Edition NBA will have two "A" level signatures per 20-box case on average! Those "A" level sigs will come from the following list of NBA super stars:

Michael Jordan
Kobe Bryant
LeBron James
Magic Johnson
Kevin Durant
Larry Bird

Really like the look of these cards. The base set is sort of like a less expensive UD Black type of card and the new RC design is sharp too. A box appears to have a complete base set (1-60), most of the RCs (61-105) & most of the 96-97 style RCs (106-120) as well making it a fairly economical set to put together. You also get 3 parallel RCs from designs from other SP years. Would guess they would be hard to put together as a set. For the $75 I spent, this was an excellent product... even if there had been no Kevin Durant auto.

I do too! I want to buy a box of this. I'm glad to see you got a full base set out of it... it looks like a really fun set to collect.
