In order to make this forum a better place to trade and discuss sportscards we have instituted a warnings system for rule violations.

This system should be the fairest way of dealing with problematic users or members who haven't looked over the rules.

You will see the warning points system link on the righthand side of your screen when you are logged in which explains rule violations and points accumulated for them.

Let me say that I hate issuing bans more than anything else and don't won't have to play big brother. However, I will not let a couple of bad apples come on here and ruin the experience for everyone else.

With that said please look over the warnings and rules so it will never be an issue.

Where do we view these at? I see the warning level: 0 at the end of your post but that's it.

Flaming is unnecessarily abusing another member on the board.

Great warning level system and it will help greatly for the site. Just out of curiousity, does anyone have a warning level?

No current member has any warnings.

When someone does you will be able to see it at the bottom right of every one of their posts.

Yes, that is a good example of blatant advertising Gio.

The signature violation refers to the 3 line limit on signatures in the forum rules.

A blank line is fine as long as there aren't a whole lot of them so that it takes up half the post.

Heyas BGray. I think this will work out great. There had been a few things that I did not like seeing and I am sure that this will help things out.

One thing I have to say is that people do make mistakes but there is no reason to degrade them for it. Just either simply ignore it or if you have to post about it then be nice and do not call them a dumb butt.

Its not sad.

Its something BGray really didn't need.

He's done a very good job along with the other mods of handling people around here but by now having this system THERE IS NO REASON WHY ANYBODY SHOULD BE MAD AT BEING BANNED because BGray set up the warning systems which tells you that you are in danger and that another mistake will get you banned.

This is not meant to be Big Brother.

Someone has to do something SERIOUSLY AND BLATANTLY wrong to get the warnings.

No one is indiscriminately giving warnings for petty stuff, like disagreements of opinons

it is a good idea, this will keep this board how it should be, sports and hobby only
